Email notifications for private messages

Any change you guys would add in a email notification that you have a private message waiting on this site?

I would be eternally grateful.

    Why would you want an email that tells you, you've recieved an email. You could also look in the top left corner for the Mail Center. It show the number of unread emails.

    A. The notification doesn't work right, it often sticks at 1 new message.
    B. So I don't have to keep the site open every minute hitting the refresh button. S
    C. Waren't allowed to check our messages here with a pop capable mailer.
