Why can't they just make one FFA PVP server with looting?

Why does this game have to be soo utterly carebear? Why can't they just make a few servers for us veterans? I don't get it.

    And how do you propose they would do it? WoW PvP is so heavily item based that there would never be an ending to the whining and nerfing that would follow once some leet guild gets the top gear.

    WoW is designed to be carebear friendly, just starting a new server with hc rules would basicly mean designing a whole new game.

    WoW is carebear easy mode. It was designed that way to appeal to the mass population.
    They are going to add a little more PvP with the BC, but it won't satisfy anyone wanting FFA looting.
    You will have to find another game.

    I wished they would at least allow you to loot inventory. If they allowed you to put money in banks, then they could allow you to loot gold too. I always enjoyed playing MUDs with banks and pk'ing some fool that didn't have all his money in a bank.

    They haven't really pushed the boat out in terms of server-rules really. I think ffa would make sense, ie. lets take us as a 'faction' of humans, we can attack each other but it is just not the etiquette, plus it is policable. So I think there should be ffa but people have a kind of colour rating which the more people they attack turn red who anyone can attack.

    Why do leet hard-core anti-carebear "veterans" play a carebear game?  I can only assume its because they aren't as leet and hard-core as they like to pretend to be.  I mean, if I was some bad ass hard-core anti-carebear I wouldn't be caught dead playing a carebear game.  I don't get it.
