in Age of Conan: Unchained
I heard that Age of Conan will be realeased this Winter in PC gamer is this true?  Cause if thats true I will be happy.

    I don't then we will see it untill around March.. Anything earlier and I would be extremly suprised.

    I think it said on their webpage that its going to be released march -> may somewhere. :)

    They said it would be released the 2nd quarter of 2007 I believe.

    Played Wow, D and L, AOC, GW, Eve, Rift and many more insignificant games.

    It was, as of several months ago. In any game, there are bound to be a few delays. Its slated to be out spring of 2007

    I am betting on 2nd quarter as well.  At least I hope they don't rush it out the door.  Between WAR, AoC and LoTR AoC appeals to me the most and I want them to release it with a good showing.

    The release date is tied to Microsofts release of the Vista operating system. From what Ive seen of Vist MS isnt going to make its date with a viable product. THis was not a good idea on FCs part.

    You dont need Vista, or direct X10 to play the game.

    In fact, if Vista gets significantly delayed for whatever, its a major marketing tactic for Microsoft "Like the game? well just imagine how well it will run when you play it with Vista!"

    It is a Microsoft Windows Vista launch title. As such, i am pretty sure MS has it outlined that the game cannot come out before Vista. Not saying I'm positive, but that is how MS operates. This is one of those "little" details people were worried might come around due to a partnership with MS. Regardless, I'll be there when the game comes out, so it doesn't really matter to me one way or the other::::02::

    Well, you can stop shooting blanks there, Fife. The Vista version of EVE is a whole new client and cannot work without Vista.::::02::

The "beta" release of AoC in december is such old news that I tend to think that you wrote your lameass post just to give Zorvan a hard time. Well, he is right and you are wrong.     Tepthtanis is right. AoC beta is actually going on right now, but of course it is a closed beta. I don't see an open beta coming for a long time.
