George W. Bush's Resume
RESUME George W. Bush The White House,
USA EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a
cheerleader. MILITARY: I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL.
I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By
joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in
Vietnam.
LAW ENFORCEMENT: I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1976 for driving
under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my
driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been
"lost" and is not available.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I ran for US Congress and lost. I began my career in
the oil business in Midland, Texas, in 1975. I bought an oil company, but
couldn't find any oil in Texas. The company went bankrupt shortly after I
sold all my stock. I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart
deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our
right-wing friends in the oil industry (including Enron CEO Ken Lay), I was
elected governor of Texas.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR: I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power
and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During
my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in the
United States. I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of
billions in borrowed money. I set the record for the most executions by any
governor in US history. With the help of my brother, the governor of
Florida, and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became
President after losing by over 500,000 votes.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT: I invaded and occupied two countries at a
continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week. I spent the US surplus
and effectively bankrupted the US Treasury. I shattered the record for the
largest annual deficit in US history. I set an economic record for most
private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period. I set the all-time record
for the biggest drop in the history of the US stock market. I am the first
President in US history to enter office with a criminal record. I set the
all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After
taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security
failure in US history on 9/11. I am supporting development of a nuclear
"Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. In my State of the Union Address, I lied
about our reasons for attacking Iraq, then blamed the lies on our British
friends. I set the record for most campaign fundraising trips by a US
President. In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their
jobs and that trend continues every month. I set the all-time record for
most foreclosures in a 12-month period. I appointed more convicted criminals
to administration than any President in US history. I set the record for
fewest number of press conferences of any President since the advent of
television. I presided over the biggest energy crisis in US history and
refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was
revealed. I presided over the highest gasoline prices in US history. I have
cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits
for active duty troops and their families -- in war time. I have set the
all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in
public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against
any single person in the history of mankind. I've broken more international
treaties than any President in US history. I'm proud that the members of my
cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. My "poorest
millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her. I
am the first President in US history to order an unprovoked, preemptive
attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. And I did so
against the will of the United Nations, the majority of US citizens, and the
world community. I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest
bureaucracy in the history of the United States government. I am the first
President in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the
Human Rights Commission. I withdrew the US from the World Court of Law. I
refused to allow inspectors access to US "prisoners of war" detainees and
thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention. I am the first
President in history to refuse United Nation selection inspectors (during
the 2002 US election). I am the all-time US and world record_holder for
receiving the most corporate campaign donations. My largest lifetime
campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over
the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in US history. My political party
used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with
the US Supreme Court during my election decision. I have protected my
friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation and prosecution. More
time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has
been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip-offs in history. I
garnered the most sympathy for the US after the World Trade Center attacks
and less than a year later made the US the most hated country in the world,
the largest failure of diplomacy in world history. I am the first President
in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the
biggest threat to world peace and security. I changed the US policy to allow
convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts. I have so far failed
to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden to justice or find weapons of
mass destruction in Iraq.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES: All records of my tenure as governor of Texas are
now in my father's library, sealed and unavailable for public view. All
records of SEC investigations into my insider trading and my bankrupt
companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public view. All records
or minutes from meetings that I, or my Vice-president, attended regarding
public energy policy are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
review. Please consider my experience when voting in 2004.

whatever, all politicians have messed up, and none of them are prefect.  The last truthful and honest president we've had was Abe Lincoln.

It's a power game... But i don't see how Bush lost by 500,000 votes though.  that's all rumor... but what isn't rumor is the Fact that Gore tried to not allow the military vote count do to it was somehow "late".  Washington sets forth the said date they are to be sent in, and they are sent in on said date.  But knowing that a majority of those votes are for Republican... which is a strategy move to try and win also.

The war had to be done, Clinton set on his hands after the USS Cole was bombed and didn't do anything about it.  Why?  because it was in the middle of election time.  why would he want to goto war in the middle of an election?  not good... I guess everyone forgets those little details.  Clinton knew all about terrorism getting targeted toward the US.

The war on Iraq had to be done, Saddom was no different than Hitler.  He was a man bent on world conquest.  and he only lacked the funds to do so... so he invaded kuwait .. he wanted to control the worlds oil.. and in that way he in turn could eventually control the world.  It's the life blood of every country.  So he needed to be dealt with and killing him and removing him from power was the only way.  even trying to bribe the rebels within his own country wouldn't work... we've tried that for the past century and it hasn't worked.  and with the oil embargo that the UN wanted that only the US and the UK has been doing anything about... forking out all the money and resources to do so... Hasn't worked.  So... i'm glad we finally got rid of him.  and are taking measures to insure another tyrant isn't put back in power there.  More than likely with a good government, all of it's native people that fled here to the US to gain a better life for themselves by going to college and such and could help go rebuild their homeland with their new found education and wealth. Nevermind the cost... it had to be done and the US and UK are the only ones with the resources and the balls to do so.

But nevertheless, until we get off our capitalistic asses and figure better uses and better means for fuel other than fossil fuels we are doomed.

So Both sides weren't on the up and up.

You pretty much have to decide on the lesser of the two evils on all accounts, until that next great one comes along... which i don't think will happen for another century.

First a couple things to say.  (1) I didn't write that image (2) I am no Clinton fan.  As far as Saddam wanting to take over the world oil supply - that wouldn't have been so bad.  If you haven't read about the hydrogen fuel cells that have been created and put into a car (concept car that is) then you might read on it.  I need to dig back so I can find the article and post it. Apparently one fuel cell can power up to 13,000 homes and that is what was implenmented in the car.  0 emission, completely environmental friendly.  2 reasons why we don't see them now. (1) They cost 1,000,000 a cell, but that is because they are not mass produced because (2) belief is that enough people will not switch to using the cars to make a reason to mass produce them.  Now if the oil supply was gone, then they would have a reason to do this image

Come on lets be fair do you really think some third world bankrupt dictator  like Saddam could conquer the world?Heck he was even scared of syria ,which could give him a good hiding and that says a lot.

Have no problems with him been ousted .One less dictator in the world is not a bad thing at all.

But the cost OMG is a lot.I am british and despite we only contributed a small force compared to the americans it cost us a few billion pounds!

We have lots of other issues to solve .We use public health and public schools here which are in dire need of funding and those billions could have solved a lot at home.

Happily,Tony Blair knows he could get kicked out by his own party is slowly bringing that money home.

Personally Tony Blair I hate. Why?because he is a semi dictator himself and if the laws did not prevent him he would be no better then Saddam.Every single crucial issue concerning the UK he never asks the people want they think or want. Not just the war but other issues like the euro,EU and numerous others.Sadly we lack any good politicans in this country anymore .

Our system does not have to wait for an election to kick someone out the party can do it-did it to thatcher in 1991.

So yeah Saddam was a bad man that deserved to get kicked in the butt but certainly not at the risk of bankrupting our economy .

since you're fairly new to this site I won't flame you back, I will merely explain something to a seemingly slow person such as yourself.  (1) This is the OFF-TOPIC forum.  For those who do not understand what that means lets break it down ---OFF means to stray from a given course or route, in this sense off the course of mmorpgs, TOPIC means a subject of discussion or conversation. So add those together and you get A subject of discussion that strays away from the course of mmorpgs.  (2) Look back through several pages of old posts, you will find many many many posts from all types of members that speak of political issues.  If you wish to stay on the topic of mmorpgs, I suggest you move over to the pub.  MMORPG.com is a community site.  We discuss many issues concerning games and other world topics.  Enjoy your stay! image

Republicans and democrats got it pretty much wrong. The only politicians that really knew what they were doing were the forefathers. As for abe lincoln, I'd say he was the beginning of the line of rather devious and misleading presidents. I believe he was the first to start abolishing the constitution, people may say that he was really great because he tried to abolish slavery, and indeed, slavery was bad, but that was a cop-out for the main reason, and anyone aquainted with history would know that slavery was just a minor reason for the civil war.

Pres. Bush, may not be the best president this country has seen, but holy crap, a liberal gets voted in and watch this country go to hell.

I understand that. I'm just wondering why you'd want to talk politics on a gaming site. Nothing against the post, I was going to vote for Edwards myself but won't be voting for Kerry. Just seems like there are so many better places to post political points than gaming sites.

Strangly i Support Bush I support bush 100% if bush came to me and asked him to join his revolt against the Union I would do it (well maybe thats a bit far) but you know what i mean.

    1. The war in Iraq needed to happen The country will be better for it afterwards anyways its not like were taking there OIl :P.

2.I bet you bush is 20x smarter then everyone gives him credit for and i would find it funny as hell if he is just sitting in the white house laughing his ass on how he fooled the whole Nation.

    3. I don't know i just feel even though hes a billionaire he still seems like a down to earth person some one i could see myself hanging out with drinking beers... I know that has nothing to do with leading a nation but i think it helps alot.

    4. Were both texans GO BUSH

  • ElnatorElnator Member Posts: 6,077

I'm supporting Bush as well since Edwards didn't get the nomination. Kerry is a flip-flopping idiot who can't decide what he's for or against. Bush had a great point in one of his speaches at his fund raiser: "Senator Kerry has been in the Senate for over 20 years now, just about long enough for him to be on both sides of every issue"

Pretty much says it all about Kerry.. But the main reason I hate Kerry is because of his activities after Viet Nam. And, if he hadn't made his 'Nam service an issue it would have never really bothered me, but since its obvious he wants to dredge the past up, so shall I.

After the war he came back and tried to run for Senate as a war hero. When he found out that wouldn't work he THEN turned 'anti-war', joined Fonda and the rest and, in the words of General George S. Patton, "Gave aid and comfort to the enemy". But worse than that, he denegrated every single member of the military who was still in 'Nam, calling them war criminals, etc. On top of that the Democratic folks who are for kerry seem to think that serving in the Guard or Reservs isn't good enough. I have a lot of friends in both the Guard and the Reserves and I took great umbrage at that stance.

A vote for Kerry is a vote for Anarchy. Because he sure as hell isn't a leader. And I've had quite enough of activist judges. The last thing we need is this guy getting elected and appointing more of them.

...but, the Vietnam "war" was WRONG. It was a continuation of the french colonial endeavor to control the region. The US tried to support a TOTALLY crook president that had his entire family involved in the political system basically looting the country (ala the philipenes.) The NV even though they were comunist still had the right to try and unify THEIR country. The US never intended to win that "war" else it would have actually invaded NV and put a stop to it finally. But the lesson from korea makes the US quite worried about the many 100k chineese armies it can throw into the mix! Basically Vietnam was a weapon testing exercise. You can not try and back out with vietnamization leting an ill-prepared SV take over the conflict as that obviously would/did not work.
The US gov't (? remember pres Johnsen & nixxon) tried to scam the public about that bogus comunist domino theory that would lead to the fall of all asia into comunism... And when the scam wasn't working resorted to blatent lies and criminalization of the protesters that objected to just leting US soldiers die in a "war" we had no desire to win.
