It's so much fun! If they had a little more support they would probably be doing updates more often, but this game is just an amazing game with a lot of potential!
I reccommend everyone try it, it's free for like a month!

I love space sims so I'll try this one out. If it's worse than EVE, I probably won't last long. EVE's tutorial bored me to death, then the life of a newbie was even slower.
Only 'space sim' I've enjoyed to date is Freelancer. But that is because I have near complete control of ship movement (with Discovery mod).
The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling

I did not call it a sim. I said this game bored me. I like space sims.
You are right. I shouldnt have used a comma.
Freelancer was decent, but damn those simplified controls really killed it for me.
Discovery mod made the controls much more advance. It at least gave you vertical thrusters.
