in Final Fantasy XI

Why can't you alt tab, hwo come they made it not possiible, unless with a windower? I don't see the problem, if every other game let you alt-tab.

    According to devs, this is to avoid argue between PC users and console users. Consloe users cannot alt tab to browse webby and find important informations about game and use them immediatly so devs felt it would be unfair to give such ability to pc players.

    Origionally FFXI was a Ps2 Only game. When the PC platform was in the development the Dev team though it would be in better fairness to not allow PC users to Minimize there Game becuase the PS2 users couldn't. This also slowd down a lot of the third party software, or amature script kiddies.

    Its still very possible to run things without windower, and even now over 60% of the FFXI PC user population use a windower program. But sticking with their origional plan SE won't allow FFXI to be alt+tab'd.
