Your best swg memory.

I guess i hade played a week or something, and this was like 6 months before the cu.

I played on my zabrak marksman, and i was out in corellia exploring and just running around exploring and geting badges (whích i thought was kinda cool) when sudenly a gigantic camp with roof and all that stuff in the middle of nowhere, ther was 3-4 ppl just sitting around and talking, and they asked me if i would like to join.

And this was the  start to that i joined my first guild, aw those camps where great...

All different characters, but I couldn't choose which memory....

It was a cold morning in amizowe stronghold, corellia when I,recieved an epiphany: I was meant to be an artisan. Not just any artisan mind you but the galaxies most prominent and skillfull of them all!!!!image

    Acotho=Amizowe Stronghold, Corellia (SCYLLA)

I got up early on a sunday morning and was just in the grinding mood. I had been working on master chef and be for a while, but i couldn't find that push to get me to the top, until that morning. 4 hours and 2 six packs of diet pepsi later I was a master chef/be!!!! THE RAPTUREimage

    Asoon=Fort Yukon, Lok (SCYLLA)

I had become more skillful in grinding, so skillful in fact I could do it blind folded and with my hands behind my back....i know i got skills. I realized that a chef/be got old so I decided to become the best clothing and uniform designer to ever step foot on a planet. Many hours and resources later I was Master Tailor/AS

I have mastered all the crafting profs, but Tailor, AS, BE, and CHEF were the only ones I went into business with.

To go along with these crafting memories, the close seconds would have to be building my first shop, with almost 0 money....but a big dream and seeing my outfits and food being used and purchased throughout the galaxy.  Good times.....Good times.....stopping b4 I become all nastalgic and emo, cause of the ngeimageimage

More a period than a single event ... pre-CU, hologrinding hadn't screwed up much of the game yet ... our city had its shuttleport, we had some Rebels putting down houses not too far up the coast so PvP around our bases was almost nightly ... I was moving a ton of resources every night as the construction boom had a lot of architects buying a lot of resources ... when there wasn't a group hunt going I'd be off to Endor looking for an exotic pet or two ... you never knew when a call for help from an Imperial guild would come in and we'd all be racing off to somewhere for a quick visit with one of our Docs before heading to battle.

    Nice while it lasted.

I'd say my favorite memories of SWG are:
(All with my Rodian smuggler/pistoleer/SL/BH/ranger/CH. Dabbling FTW.)

    1. ...any improv cantina RPing.
    2. ...killing the giant Ewok on April Fool's day.
    3. ...punching Darth Vader, then finding out about the huge fine.
    4. ...all the forty-man hunting trips on the "Adventure" planets.

Je mettrai l'amour sur dos de moi.

when i started my ranger company with a friend and it actually felt like we were full time employed at a work in-game. What an awesome experience. To fix contacts, make deal, beat concurrents, manage resources.... every mission was so awesome. And to find out how the resource qualities were on every location. Hard work, good cash. But truly, the best part of being a ranger was the social part. Since you had so much time over for roleplaying and so on.

Mine is from beta.  For the first 3 weeks, I never left Tyrena.  Then one evening, I decided to visit Coronet.  We all have a story like this - not knowing about shuttles, I set a waypoint and started walking.

Between bugs and getting incapped constantly by butterflies and other things, I didn't make it the first night.  But that second night - whoa!  I felt like a yokel seeing the big city for the first time.  The huge crowds, the towering skyscrapers.  Chitin armor?  Wow!  Everything's up to date in Coronet City!

That's the kind of game we had.  There was so much to do that one quiet little town could be your whole world.

I remember after playing a few weeks, utterly avoiding any conflict with the Imperial NPCs, I decided to do my part and join the Alliance. I remember how I was always a little nervous about getting discovered, and how I avoided Imperial occupied cities.

I also remember how cool it was (this happened all the time) when you'd be in a group, and nobody knew what skills everyone had, and was always surprised when someone could do a mega-heal or pull some crazy weapon out of the bag and weild it well.

Then there was the first time I saw a Jedi... The first Jedi I saw while trying to get into the Blueleaf Temple. We RP'd a bit and he totally acted like a Jedi, noble, protective of everyone around, and powerful.

    Those days are goneski.

Far too many to pick just one....

    1) The first time someone grouped with me and took me hunting.  SWG being my first mmo, i had no idea what grouping was about, but we got our butts handed to us by some (uggghhh brain fart) the umm...big blue critters on corellia....   lol  its funny now but they were tough with a cdef rifle and no armor or buffs or umm..skill or anything

    2) About two months (?) into the game I met zothrak who went and tamed  me my first greater sludge panther, this was when I really became hooked on swg.  Before this I could only handle a lvl 15 spider, but he got me to nov ch in like an hour.   I was just ecstatic, which led to my next fav moment...

    3) Getting my first master (CH), I had played way to long to only now be getting my first master, but I could never decide on anything and liked being versatile.  At one point I was nov ch, nov swords, nov pistols, with some ent (or some combo thereing)......lol

    4) Making my first million, then my first 100 mill,  getting my NSEL, pwnin melichae, and lets see the whole shipwright thing was a wonderful experience,

    5) OOhhh, i remember one.  This was maybe a month after the game started give or take, and I had finally got some nov skills and decent weapons (nov ch, nov swords, nov pistols i think) and we took a group of 15 -20 to dathomir.  I had never been there, and the whole place creeped me out.  I actually got goose bumps.  This was pre armor that was worth a damn, pre buff, pre anything....   but we started off  across dath looking to misbehave.  Sure 20 of us could handle anything we came across, right?   We managed to take down a rancor with only a few casualties, after about 30 min or so.  Then we came across two nightsisters that kept us pegged down in some ruins, we were all slaughtered in about 5 minutes.   It was one of the most exciting times I had in my entire time in the game which was a day after launch till bloody november.....

I still remember the day I mastered Doctor.

I was healing in the Naboo Medical Center when I finally achieved enough XP. Took a look around for a Master Doctor to train me. Didn't see one. Ran outside towards the Cantina to the left.

Found a Master Doctor just outside the ID tent and was trained Master Doctor.

Amazing moment that really felt like an achievment since I worked for it without any macro tricks. I just played the game because I find it more fun that way.

    I have several actually.

    1. The early days when everyone was still trying to figure out the profs.  Comp armor was a brand new thing/concept.  In that time the raids between Bestine and Anchorhead were awesome.

    2.  The day the 1st Jedi unlocked and I was playing and the message went up on the screen from lord Vader of a disturbance in the force.  Got the chills when that happened(on my server Intrepid btw).

    3. The day I unlocked Jedi after 26 profs mastered.

    4. Laying the smack down on BH's that came after me in groups.

    5. Going on Grevious runs.

Pre-CU. Having my Swordsman/Doctor get buffed up and killing just about anything that crossed my path. Taking out Tuskens at the fort and killing Rancors on Dantooine. Man! Good times!! I can see where some people got their knickers in a twist about the buffs. There were a bit outrageous. All the Pre-CU really needed was a bit of fine tuning (like making buffs not to strong) and it still would have been a ton of fun!! Opportunities lost SOE!

LOL. Gotta love when someone intentionally or accidentally hit the lair. What was fun about those was that you absolutely needed a scout, CH, medic and entertainer to keep the group alive. I think the best fights where when the someone had Squills to fight. Man those things where tough to a bunch of unarmored, non master hunters.

I had never played a mmo before I had the game for about 1 months and was getting board... fast, until a guy (Poemec) came up to me and started talking and asked me to join his guild (<FCH> on Bria) anyway it was late so I went to the guilds HQ to join and get a house before I logged out for the day.

Over the next week other than a few welcome tells etc I never really did that much and was thinking of leaving the game it was pre CU and the grind for a noob was just crazy.

On the following weekend I logged in to tell people I was going to leave the game. I logged into guild chat and found people were going on a hunt on Endor until this point I’d never been there I had only stayed on Tatooine. Naboo. and Rori running a few missions for cash and learning the skill trees and combat

my fellow guildies told me to get a buff and join them and I had no idea what they were talking about so the doc (you know him as hawkin) came to met me give me a buff and take me to the action (it was  poi on Endor I was such a noob I cart even remember what it was called) and we had about 25 people there murdering everything in sight it was right there and then I realised what a mmo is all about and I fell in love with SWG and never looked back.

    best time ever
