I was just hanging around the apartment, watching Lost, and I decided that it is the best show in the history of the universe. Who's with me on this one?
Lost sure does live up to its name. The writers do anyways.

I love Lost, but personally I think Prison Break beats it.

Have any of you heard of this show called jericho? it is kinda like lost. It is supposively after a nuclear attack on the US of all of it's major cities, and it is about a small town named jericho getting throught the times afterward. Only seen one eposode, so I dunno how good it is going to be.

Well..., they need to change the name of Prison Break because they already broke out of prison... What are they going to do next? Make a plan to Re-break into prison? Retarded!
I like Lost, it's really fun to see what is going to happen next.
I've been little more into Jericho more than Lost though...., it's a pretty good show.
The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling
I've never been one to watch much television, let alone follow a show religiously. "Heroes" is the only show I watch, and the first one to actually make me want to see what happens next.

I heard that show was pretty much the same deal. The "wtf is going to happen next week?!??!" kind of show. I'll have to check it out.
lost is a very good show but HBO has the best shows by far.
the wire is awesome, deadwood although the series is basicly done was great, sopranos and entarage[sp], of course and even carnivale before it got canned all better.
I love lost, I just hate waiting for all the answers. I wish I would never have gotten into it. THat way when the show was over I could just rent all of the seasons on DvD (no waiting 3 seasons to find out where the others live).
That what I did with 24 seasons 1-5. Its definitely the way to go.

What greater tribute to free will than the power to question the highest of authority? What greater display of loyalty than blind faith? What greater gift than free will? What greater love than loyalty?
I watch every episode every week of the following tv shows(currently).
Prison Break
Heroes
Friday Night Lights
The Unit
Jericho
Lost
Smallville
Battlestar Galactica
The Wire
I look forward to PB, FNLs, and the Wire.
I greatly look forward to, and greatly enjoy Battlestar Galactica and Jericho.
I don't really look forward to and can get slightly bored with Smallville, The Unit, Heroes, and Lost.
I guess because Smallville is too predictable, The Unit characters are assholes, Heroes is dull, and each Lost episode seems to barely move forward and is a little Soapy for me.
So far I think this season of Lost blows. I loved the first and second season, but it seems like the writing ran into a brick wall with 3 of THE main characters locked up in a prison.
They havent done much at all with Hurley, Charley, Locke, or other main characters, except kill off Eko. Honestly I can't remember all that many events that had much importance taking place.
I never had any interest in watching the Wire but during a 3 day weekend I noticed HBO was showing the entire first season on my Cox Cable On Demand and gave it a go. I was hooked 2 episodes in and as soon as I finished the first season over 2 days Season 2 was on there and then 3. Each season gets better and better. Very comparable with Sopranos or Deadwood. More so with Sopranos.
Friday Night Lights is actually pretty good mainly because of the "Town against the Coach" atmosphere that made the movie and other Football Movies like "Remember the Titans" so good. I don't mind and rather enjoy that the actual Football Game Action takes a back seat to the other drama, mainly because it makes what is shown so much more exciting, however there are a couple of annoying "Soapy" sub-plots popping up.
Hmm, since it seems like we have similar tastes I may go searching for the first two episodes of each and form an opinion. Thanks for the info. Definitly piqued my curiosity.

Pfft, Battlestar Galactica FTW!
Well, actually, Firefly, but it's not technically on air, so........
To be honest, I have never watched a episode of Lost, so you shouldn't listen to me, but I felt like interjecting my opinion on TV shows.

nah new Battlestar Galactica is by far superior.

It is just ok.
I hate how in the third season STILL NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON. It has great actors but the writing just sucks.
