Rappelz is Great...Deserves Higher Rating

You guys who think Flyff is the best free MMO out there need to go download and play Rappelz.  It is so much better than any other free MMO on the market.  It is still in open beta but there will NOT be a character erase before the game is officially released.   You just have to play it to understand how so much better it is than Flyff.

    no character wipe when going gold turns off any sane mmo player.

    I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    No thank you.  I installed it and played it for two hours and was left asking myself, "Did archlord and rappelz devs sit next to each other while making these games or what?"  Too similiar to each other for my liking.  Even though they are free games, my time is worth money and both make me feel like I was robbed.

    I agree Rappelz does deserve a Higher Rating.  Its not really that bad of a game.  The graphics leave much to be desired, but its gameplay has minor nuances that are pretty beneficial.

    Such as combat animations.  The animations automatically scale to your speed so you are never left standing thier waiting for another strike.  The 4 BGMs they have are top notch.  They have a unique upgrade system where you only need 3 weapons and armor the entire game.  The pet system allows for further upgrade.  The quests really didn't do much though.  Typical errand boy quests and kill X monsters return to NPC Y.  What I like about this game is the skill system.  You can learn and max every skill of the class with enough time.

    One thing I didn't like is the class system.  I chose that Goth Race and I was very disappointed that using an axe was unbeneficial.  I don't wanna run around looking like a fencing pansy.  I was running around with a giant axe and it looked cool.  However, I was restricted to only 1 combat class that only had skills related to swords, daggers, and bows.  That was really lame.

    I played for about an hour the other night and while I wouldn't pay for it, it is pretty nice for a f2p game.
