Please, PLEASE help meeeeee!!!!

in Final Fantasy XI

Damn it took me hours to install FFXI and now it won't work. I have a fairly good PC (1200 Athlon XP, good Geforce 2 card, and stuff), and everything goes well until I click on "CREATE CHARACTER" in the game's main menu. Then it gets me to a black screen, where I can hear the music and the sound effects as I type keys or move the mouse, but I can't see anything, the scree is blank. In other words, the game doesn't crash, but the display lets go.

Anyone else got that issue? And do you have any suggestions aside from updating video drivers?

    Try contacting Squares support. They should be able to help.

    Try to wait until March 20-something for the PS2 version. The computer version should never have happened.image  (Yes I got the date wrong previously)

    hmmm i guess check out the Square Enix company they helped me and also try to check out if ur computer doesnt like it.  A game i had i guess turned nto a virus and killed my computer.
