Single Play RPGs

in Istaria: Chronicles of the Gifted

Hello all,

I recently left Horizons. I've tried basically all the MMORPGs out there except for the real old ones. Does anyone know of a good/fairly recent single play RPG out there one could indulge in until EQ2 or WOW comes out. I've got Morrowind with all the expansions and also done Neverwinter.

    'Temple of Elemental Evil' looks pretty good, based on the old D&D Greyhawk series. garphics and gameplay looks like Baldur's Gate, but i think it's closer to the old D&D system and not the 3rd edition.

    You could also try Dark Alliance II if you have a PS2.

    Morrowind is great, isn't it :)

    Planescape: Torment is an oldie, but a goodie, if you can find it. Oh, and Arx Fatalis is good too :)

    I also heard Temple of Elemental Evil was pretty good, but never tried it personally. I enjoyed Lionheart, but kept trying to reform to create the ultimate character (1H until you get master at arms ability, then switch to unarmed for slayer and linear ability bonuses), so I never finished it. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was exceptional though. I didn't particular like NWN, so I was a bit skeptical at first, but if KOTOR ever comes out with an expansion, I'll be dropping whatever MMO I'm currently playing until I finished it.
