So, here I am. Sitting on almost 2 years playing WoW now. My wife and I have several level 60 characters. I am slowly getting bored though. Sure raiding is fun every now and then, but it usually ends up in a large argument over Vent because someone did something stupid or w/e. PvP in WoW is so rediculous it isnt' even funny. It is nothing but a gear fest.
That being said, I played DAoC when it first released, like no more than 3 days after launch . I loved DAoC, however I quit playing because at the time there wasn't really anything to do once you hit level 50 (granted I only got to 46 I think .. 46 Dwarf Healer Tristan server). At the time I quit Midgard's main dungeon was Spindelhalla (yes it was that long ago) and RvR was a joke, it was nothing more than Tag. We'd take over all the keeps and as soon as we'd log out for sleep or w/e they'd come and take em back.
What I'm wanting to know is, how much has DAoC changed since then? I know it has changed a lot. But was it for the better or for the worse? Also, what's the learning curve on the new content/abilities and such? Given that I've been playing WoW for the last 2 years and before that was Shadowbane and Everquest.
