I agree with you totally, those would be awesome movies, as long as they dident use BIG stars in the cast, 'cos that kinda spoils it all, (I.E., Street Fighter:The Movie with Van Damme)

Fresh faces for LoTR? I dunno, about the only one that I only saw in one movie was Viggo Mortensen. Everyone knew Elijah wood, Sean astin was popular because of rudy, Sean bean I remembered from patriot games and I think it was....Goldeneye. The dude that played as gandalf was on both x-men. John Rhys-Davies played on Indiana Jones. Elrond was Agent Smith in the matrix.
The only newcomers were really the guys that played as Legolas, and Merry and Pippin.

I agree that Wolfenstein and Doom could do really well, but as we have seen from a lot of games turned movie they usually get spoiled by rash jobs. Same with Max Payne and MGS, most turn out crap, but who knows, they could turn out good.
Unfortunately that is the risk taken. I would hate for any ameture to dare attempt a movie at either the doom or wolfenstien series and screw it up. ie - Streetfighter.. Mortal Combat 2 (MK1 was good)
I really have high hopes that some big name will see the potential in these 2 titles and really go all out, yet use new faces like we discussed earlier. *sigh* One can dream....
I thought of another... Im sure everyone has played MOH, Medal of Honor. Now there's tons of WWII movies out there... yet the genre isnt about to die anytime soon. So what's one more? hehe So MOH would be another I'd like to see done.
Did BHD, "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down" come out before the movie "Behind Enemy Lines" or afterwards?

Yeah sorry I didn't mean to imply the entire cast were fresh faces. There were quite a few however.

A good suggestion, I was a fan of the original game...but...I could see it turning into one of those movies you can only understand if you do A LOT of drugs

i only played the new game, and with some of the scenery in that game, they could at least make it look pretty.
About that RE2 being made a movie...well if you actually watched the movie you'd know that it took place before RE1 and the rest, also you'd probably know that they are continuing the movie.....so yea...you'll most likely be seing Leon and so on in the future if they continue it that long but who knows what there gonna do story wise by adding hottie in there lol. Also they messed the story up to begin with RE1 Hunters appeared to tear you apart, RE2 Lickers bad boy hunters appeared to lick ya to death..., in the movie the Licker evolved into Hunter? Should have been Hunter evolved into licker...*shrug* . Besides alittle off topic why make RE a movie anyway come March 19th your call gonna get the classic and best Zombie movie ever Dawn of the Dead remade ^^ can't wait...
As for a movie I'd have prefered an FF8 movie over 7...I'd rather had another FF7 sequel to play on the PS2 not to watch heh, besides 8 felt more like a movie than a game if you consider the fact all you did was watch movies outside the long process of messing with your GF's. Haven't looked at a cast for FF8 non-cg I guess Tom Cruise could pull off a Squall heh *shrug*

I'd like to see Kingdom Hearts (PS2) beeing turned into a movie.
At first it seems like a game for kids, but it really is a great game.

Well see using big named actors/actress draws in specific crowds. Ie fans of that perticular actor/actress.
Im like that. But I also think its refreshing to see new talent at work.

A good suggestion, I was a fan of the original game...but...I could see it turning into one of those movies you can only understand if you do A LOT of drugs
