I have always loved comics and movies, and keeping with that I thought it'd be fun to start a dream MMO thread based on those ideas. (maybe there already is one, but I don't know where ATM):

First for me would be the 'Highlander' franchise. There are 4 movies, 6 seasons from TV, a cartoon series (that should be ignored), and the CCG. Was there also a short-lived comic? Plenty to draw drom I'd say. The thing would be this - do you choose an era to make the game in or have the client do so via their server choice? Obviously, the eisier is to choose an era, and I think today would be best w/ a deap char creation that allows making a history via templates (Planeshift actually has something like this already)

- Char history creation would determine wealth of todays char at start.

- 'Quickenings' would give stat bonus' (Ohh - there would need to be permadeath - fun...)

- This is something I could go on and on with in building the dream, and someone else already has. There WERE plans a while back for this title to happen, but they were scrapped.

Second for me would be the 'Underworld' movies. Imagine choosing at char creation to be hume, vamp, or werewolf. Need I say more? Again, this would be a modern era game, and the fun thing would be that although at heart it is an MMOTPG - it would also need to have FPS abilities worked in. Again, I could go on - but I'd like to hear back from some of you all first...
