A few questions from an old player on Fenrir

A: Can you actually run from mobs now? I know as a redmage if I hate time to root, and then slow a mob I MIGHT (like 40% of the time) be able to make it to a zoneout without zoning in dead... if I didn't get ANY other aggro the whole way and knowing the best most direct route offhand

B: Is all the equipment still the same? What I mean is, at every level tier 18-24-28-32 etc, there is always one "best" set for each class... all the warriors and all the red mages would be wearing the same armor, and all the white/black mages would be wearing the same robes... and all the end-level chars all had the same class-distinct outfits... it was like land of the clones... anything different?

C: is every group like a raid? When played ANY time you wanted to ANYTHING you had to have a FULL group, that knew how to play their class... I remember spending hours going from group to group looking for one that didn't get wiped over and over cause the puller was a retard or people didn't know their class... and since you couldn't really run from a mob 1 add to many was a guaranteed wipe...

    A: No, There is come client/server lag, What you see actually happens about 1 to 1.5 seconds earlier. Thats why if you happen to be chasing a mob, you're often unable to hit it untill it stops while if its chasing you you'll get hit the entire time you're running.

    B: While of course there are new sets of equipment, Some of the same item models are used again. I belive,there are 170ish Diffrent equipment Sets. The only time its very appearant is during early levels before theres much of a selection.

    C: There are more retards who can't play their job well. (Or maybe i've just been high level too long and Know whats acceptable and whats not). I don't know how long ago you played, But a few months back there was an MPK update that made mobs once they lost hate despawn. This stopped all the mob trains to zone lines that would come back and kill every party on the way.

    Wow, if that is the ONLY improvement I guess I won't check out the updates, thanks

    That might be the only thing mob related thats changed, but its not the ONLY change. You should still go read through the update notes.

    These were all real game-breakers for me, they could change anything they want, but until they fix these 3 things I have no interest...
