About "Why dont bring back pre-cu"

Well, I guess you all hear the rumors that the devs now that are working down at Austin, have lost the old code to pre-cu.

If now, that is true, how hard will it be to make the changes that brings pre-cu back?

Or this is just a load of horse shit, and they can make a pre-cu whenever they want (which i think).

That's not a rumor. That's a baseless post someone made here yesterday.

One rumor I heard a long, long time ago (before the NGE) was that they lost some of the notes that were logged from some of the old devs who built the game. It was one of the reasons they had such a hard time patching things and one of the reasons why when they did something like change the loot drop rate on say orange rug threads, Rancor would stop spawning. Crazy shit like that. So even if they wanted to, they could never really rebuild the game like it was.  Just one of many rumors though.
