Guys I can assure you that I hate SOE every bit as much as the rest of you, but I think you are way overreacting to the free offer not working. You are not out any money, therefore you haven't been damaged. I don't think what they have done (in this instance) consititutes fraud. There are other reasons as well.
My guess is this just a sign of their incompetence rather than their intent to defraud us.
That being said, why would any of you take them up on this offer. Once you do, they are just going to count you as a new player in their statements about how well the game is doing.
SOE mass emailscram machine does not double check their nasty and nice list . I had to complain about spam many times to SOE after being premabanned . Only switching ISPs by moving was I was able to shake off the shank of SOE spamming.
Even if I do see it from that screwed up 3rd person over-the-shoulder moronic horrible perspective.

Well the reason for that is if you claim your 21 days with 1 day remaining on the promotion. Though from what I read they did not say when they would end access. They just said you had to claim your access by 10/31.
Bad form, because I can see people claiming on 10/31, getting 1 whole day access, then SOE pulling the plug. Yay, more whining and griping are on the way. They truly are like moths to a flame sometimes, and I don't mean to bash them (this time).

I know this is giving them credit for being devious and actually going out of their way to do some programming, but did they make the assumption my wife was really me because of the same credit card?
Personally I still think it was just crap coding for the promotion and some of us work and others don't. It fits SOEs performance history slightly better. When given a choice between them being devious and spiteful versus incompetent I choose the latter.

My account has been closed for 10 months; it was clean at that time, with no warnings or bans. Since it closed after the NGE went live, I was never eligible for their previous "come back and try it" offers. I haven't received the email. I can't log on to either the forum or the game. I am signed up for newsletters and special offers, but the last newletter was in August, about the Jedi and BH expertise.

We know that the game is currently utter dog-egg so why bother artificially boosting SOE's subscriber figures?
They could offer to pay me to play for 21 days and I would delete the email without a thought.
