Dont know if this qualifies as creepy to most but to me it really made me sick. I mean physically ill.
My Imperial guild's city was about 500 meters from a Rebel guild's city on naboo. The rebel guild was the most powerful (force) guild on the server. Mainly because they bought or trained up jedi like mad. They had at least 70% of the jedi population on that server. My guild was the most powerful (money) guild on the server. We had mostly crafters and we were good at what we did. To give you an idea of how much we had, we had around 5 large houses, 2 maxed out vendors, and close to 20 factories all stocked to the gills with 100k stacks of various resources. Just before I left the game I personally had gained over 100 million in credits from working this guild.
Now the rebel guild didnt have a shuttleport in their city. But they didnt need one. Afterall why spend on a shuttleport when you can blackmail the imperial city next door to use theirs? The deal was simple, we let them come and go as they pleased and never even tried to attack them or they would hunt us ad naseum until we finally quit. Being crafters we constantly got TEF'd from trades and such. So since most of the guild were weak we had to give in.
One night one of the rebel guild, bored I guess, decided to whack our doctor when he got a TEF trade in our city. So upset with this our doctor attacked one of their bases in their city while they were on Lok PVPing. He managed to take one of their turrets. When the leader of the rebel guild saw what had happened and figured out who had done it, he came into our city and slaughtered everyone TEF'd or overt. Along with his crony who had killed the doctor earlier. Angered by this one of our leaders banned the rebel guild from our city.
It boiled down to a meeting in front of our cantina after we all lost TEF except our leader and couldnt be attacked. The leader of the rebel guild ordered our leader to lift the ban or else. He even ordered our leader to kowtow before him. He basically said he would personally see to it that his guild spends every waking moment in our city killing everyone in our city that was TEF'd or raised a hand against them unless the ban was lifted.
Now imagine you got two rebel jedi sorrounded by imperials. A couple of bouty hunters who had this leader's BH mission and LS shields, a ranger rifleman with a legendary T21 that could have mindcapped the leader in one shot, 2 TKAs and too top it off a couple of crafters that had some combat. We told our leader just give the word. I had the rebel leader targetted and as soon as the fight started he would be on his back.
But instead of attacking, our leader, gave in to the rebel leader and did what he asked. Even dropping to his knees in front of him. It made me sick. Here is a rebel jedi acting more imperial then even the emperor could have been. And I wanted to puke. I mean this seriously. I sick to my stomach from it.
After this everything turned from worse to impossible. The rebel leader began harrassing us with his guild. No more blackmail. He would use our shuttle and maybe not kill us if he saw us TEF'd at his discretion. After that we became a PVP guild to try to fight back but it never really worked out. Last time I was in game all of that guild was gone. No one left. Our city had become a ghosttown.
Anyway this incident is what made me quit SWG in a big way. Watching this just showed me clearly that jedi in this game was wrong. That the path to jedi was wrong. That all of it was wrong.
So now people know why I am against jedi in SWG so vehemently. Because you cant put an alpha class in a game and make it work. All it takes is one bad egg to destroy it all. And also why I cant stomach the current jedi situation as it stands either.

I dont know about creepy, but it certainly is high drama and would have pissed me off too.... Sounds like one guy being a puss ruined your entire guild and alot of peeps entire ability to enjoy the game and thats just a shame.....

Did you know that there was a time when actions actually had consequenses in the game? That if you were Imperial or Rebel, and traded/healed(or interacted with) with another Imperial or Rebel, you suddenly were open for PvP?
That if a rebel/Imperial NPC attacked you..wich were a huge possibility in both NPC cities and player cities(after "enemy guilds" placed some bases around your town) and in the wild, you also was open up for PvP?
Did you know that the reason there is now "specforce and combatant" is because arsehats decided to use the mechanics to harrass and grief, instead of using them as a means of having combat with people that wanted combat?

Early in SWG's life you had a covert overt system. If you were covert you were open to attack by only NPCs. However if attacked one of those NPCs you got a TEF or Temporary Enemy Flag. This made you attackable by any Overt players. It only lasted for 10 minutes.
You could also get a TEF from trading or healing an overt player or TEF'd player. So when you are in a guild of imperial crafters it would happen quite often. Even if you watched it closely you would still get TEF without even realizing it.
This led to an interesting tactic where an overt player would sit in a spawned faction base and wait for the enemy player to show up. When the player hit one of the factioned NPCs the overt player would then attack the TEF'd player.
Also there was an interesting little thing you could do where you would get into a group and only one of you would be overt. The rest of you would be covert. If your overt player got attacked by another player you would then be able to get a first strike on that enemy player.
It was actually a good system however as always it only takes a few dweebs to mess it all up. Now we have the combatant/specfor system.
Also I was bugged myself. I would pop overt without even knowing it. I could just be loading from one city to another and when I was loaded I would appear overt. No amount of deaths stopped it. Even going to a recruiter wouldnt stop it. It was this bug that led to the infamous Battle of Daeric that lasted from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. One massive battle that you will never ever see the likes of again. You can thank the NGE for that.
i thing the dont think there was the creepiest thing that happen to me... but the cooles thing was... you could got Cyber Sex from these's girls in Theed cantina...
i only did it once to make sure it was a girl i had her get on her webcam and micohpone just to make sure it was her and shit.. then you know what happen next:)!

Hmm creepiest. There was a guy that I had on my ignore list (for reasons i wont go into) and ofc he created several toons that I all ingored until he created a toon with my REAL LIFE NAME that danced in the theed cantina. Ofc i asked him nicely to cut it out, but he said he liked the name and was already far into dancer, so i eventually had to get some csr intervention. Definately made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
Creepiest forum moment, I know you all remember that one post about Lermer or w/e the name was. It was about a retarded person playing swg who had to quit with the nge and the op kept talking about her like she was a pet and it definately creeped me out.

i thing the dont think there was the creepiest thing that happen to me... but the cooles thing was... you could got Cyber Sex from these's girls in Theed cantina...

Cool, I wasnt trying to imply that your situation wasnt legitimate. I just thought of some of some girl talk in the cantina over some of the guys that couldnt behave and act right. There were some who were quite charming tho and they did always get the most attention /blush

There was a guy that I had on my ignore list (for reasons i wont go into) and ofc he created several toons that I all ingored until he created a toon with my REAL LIFE NAME that danced in the theed cantina. Ofc i asked him nicely to cut it out, but he said he liked the name and was already far into dancer, so i eventually had to get some csr intervention. Definately made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
Creepiest forum moment, I know you all remember that one post about Lermer or w/e the name was. It was about a retarded person playing swg who had to quit with the nge and the op kept talking about her like she was a pet and it definately creeped me out.
