"Hello person posting on a site specifically for MMO's in a thread on a sub forum specifically for a particular game talking about meta features and making comparisons to other titles in the genre, and their meta features.
It's up on the official site again, word for word, but without my name. If someone with forum access could go point that out, it'd be much appreciated.
Originally posted by Wildcat84I tell you, for a group of people who SHOULD be humble, polite, and frankly, apologizing every other sentence, the Devs today are displaying an AMAZING amount of condescension and ego.My god, how delusional they are! They actually think THIS is the "magic bullet" NGE publish that is going to make it all better and attract back the 100,000 subscribers they've lost!Well, there is such a publish, but it is one of the ones between 11 and 14
So youre admitting to the game currently having over 200k subscribers?*rubs hands together* excellent..
Do you EVER contribute ANYTHING other than BS Trolling?
We all know the answer to that. The only thing Pirrg is good at is irrevelancy.
Excellent post. The fact is theat the people developing this game are obnoxious little bullies without any integrity. They are bad people. not just bad developers, and it shows in their work and the way they run the forums. It also shows how they deal with failure. They get angry and stomp their feet, then blame everyone but themselves. It is as sad as it is sick. This is from Smedley/Julio on down to Helios/Thunderheart. The decent people who work there either have to keep their heads down or get out now. It's a growing market in a growing economy -- there are plenty of jobs for those few people of quality that remain. Time for them to move on.

I strongly agree, and this is one of the biggest problems with corporations today. They focus too much on employees doing what they're told, and not enough on "going the extra mile," so to speak.
While I didn't play SWG for any significant amount of time, I got a good idea of how deep and complex the game's systems were (during pre-CU). It's sad to see this rare gem of a game gutted and thrown out in favor of WoW Clone #423. What really amazes me is the willingness of the devs and CSRs to openly come out and badmouth their own customers. Telling your fanbase to "piss off" is not widely regarded as good PR.
I e-mailed all the devs the link to that post this morning. I think they may have blocked my e-mail address by now, though.
Maybe I should print it out and mail it to them... And maybe do a Harry Potter kinda thing, where everytime they ignore it, I'll send in twice as many.
