Everquest 2: Giant New EQ2 Movie

FilePlanet has just started offering a minute long movie preview for Everquest II.  The movie is about 205MB and if you are not a FilePlanet member you can expect to wait 45-60 minutes waiting in line to get the file.  Everquest II fans will find it well worth the wait!

    205MB for 1 min video... no thank you!

    They could have made that 30MB and 2 minutes instead.

    I have to admit, the in-game shots were impressive. Against my better judgement, I will probably try this game. Of course, I will have to seriously upgrade my system just to be able to run it. I just hope it isn't EQ with better graphics. image

    I just toured SOE about 10 days ago and got to sit down and watch EQII for about 2 hours.  Let me tell you something...this game is going to blow people's minds.  There is nothing out there like it graphics-wise.  The gamplay elements looked very cool as well image

    however i saw the movie, not bad but 250 mb is just to muchimage

    That's something to hear considering the screen shots have been underwhelming.  I love to ask you a number of questions about the game, but I supect you wouldn't be able to answer them. (unless you killed me)

    I am going to be putting up a story today which outlines my tour of SOE.  There will be lots of EQII goodies in there :)

    I downloaded the movie before leaving for work this morning. I came home and watched it. Most impressive indeed. The graphics are a spectacle unto themselves. I'm still concerned about the game play aspects though. image

    I just downloaded the trailer and it looks fantastic.  I really wish SOE would put more info out.  I had kinda cooled on EQ2 until I read Admin's writeup and saw this trailer.  Now I'm all geared up for it!  The file is a bit large, but it's worth the download, IMHO.

    I took the time to download this brief tailer.

    I'm not impressed with it, it's not bad, but nothing overly exciting. However I've been poisoned to all things VI, to such an extent I don't think I can possibly present anything close to non-basis on this matter.

    I still have allot of questions about the game, but I know they can't be answered at this time but I all that read in the FAQ has only re-empished that VI will be keep doing everything that I grew to hate about EQ1 only with better graphics.

    GoD has proven it may be 5 years but VI still can't make a expansion with any level of quality control.

    Granted over 5 years EQ improved in some ways, but in others it's only gotten worse. I find it hard to believe EQ2 will break this cycle.
