Gameloading will be by soon with 1,000 asian MMORPGs that I've never heard of.
What greater tribute to free will than the power to question the highest of authority? What greater display of loyalty than blind faith? What greater gift than free will? What greater love than loyalty?
While Gods and Heros looks like it will be a good game, I think WAR will have a better PvP system since it is the center of the game. If WAR has a bad PvP system the game will be junk.

Watch the video in my sig, go ahead and ignore the Guild recruitment propaganda and just watch the action
Any more questions?

That's more like it! Hopefully the blood and gore will keep the little WOW kiddies away.
My questions would be - any PVP looting? Any forced alliances / enemies or is it player choice FFA (guilds and such)? Skill based or level based?
Sure i could find out myself, but seeing you offered!
Since fighting seems to be the main task in mmorpgs I would want to play the upcoming game that has controls comparable to fighting games such as king of fighters. Controllers allow you to have more fun because rolling your thumb over the d-pad while hitting combinations on the right-pad make it more of a worthy kill than by clicking a enemie with your mouse and then clicking [freeze spell]. Fighting should be a groove and not a clickfest.
I guess someone needs to patent an ultimate mmorpg controller with all the bells and whistles

Yes and no, item looting is out, but there is something known as blood money. Blood money is used to purchase items specifically made for PvP, the only way to get more of it, is by looting it from fallen players.
As to alliances, its player choice FFA, the endgame revolves around sieging and defending guild cities. Its a mixture of skill base and level base, theoretically, a skilled enough player could still defeat one 30-40 levels above him, maybe even with a wider gap if the higher up guy was particularly incompetent.
Lustmord, its called realistic graphics
Thrakk, AoC's combat system is a directional base, you have to aim every spell, you must direct each swing of your weapon, no autoattack and go to sleep here.

Honestly, I think they all look cool and all have their own unique characteristiques.
I'm really looking to see what games like Aion, Darkfall and TR do.
I'm very excited to see Spellborn come out and be the sleeper hit I think it could really be, I'm curious whether Vanguard will live up to it's own hype and more then a little currious to see whether Burning Crusade turns WoW into an even bigger beast then it already is.
I'll certainly be keeping an eye Age of Conan as I think it has tons of potential for a large audience, Gods and Heroes should hopefully infuse the market with a little orginality and WAR will hopefully turn out to be more then overhyped junk.
Overall, I'm really stoked to see what's comming around the corner.
Im having a look at all the games mentioned in this thread too, cant wait to try them. Everquest 2 was hyped to China and back, but when I tried it, meh. So wont point out a winner yet.

WAR looks sweet.
Age of Conan doesn't look all that great for some reason, and I love Conan. But the graphics look bland.
Gods and Heroe's looks interesting. I like the Greek twist.
fun (exploration, graphics, kill groove, community, etc)
strategy (customizaton, multi-tasking, decision making, kill groove, etc)

You left out the best two.
Chronicles of Spellborn
Pirates of the Burning Sea
Won't be 2007, they've only recently begun production for those two. They will definately be late 2008, early 2009.
Edit: Typo
