This is definitely a game that NEEDS a North American Publisher (and not just some random startup) right away, for the potential in this game is nothing short of spectacular. Been looking forward to this game for years, and I can't wait to finally try it when it hits beta in Singapore version. Good thing they won't be IP blocking us initially.
Out of all the korean MMOs out there, this is easily the most appealing one to western gamers.
I played an open-beta for this in another language and I must say that it's totally rhombus! I loved how they took the basic Korean MMO formula and changed it just enough for it to be really fun. If you took the game and removed the ability to control 3 character it would just be another boring generic grindfest, but with the 3 character you're able to really do something different/special. I didn't care that I was grinding the same mobs or going through boring dungeons because I was grouped with 2 or 3 other people and our 12 character were just laying waste to everything in site, and that was fun!
Granado Espada solves the problem of clicking 1 or 2 buttons and letting your auto attack kill a mob, I mean you can just auto attack mobs if you want but if you're skilled at micro-managing your characters you're able to kill much faster and much harder mobs. Another great thing I love about the game is the hold/keep modes. This lets you tell your characters to hold the spot that they're in and kill any mob that comes to them, so you can stick it on hold mode while you go to the washroom, or grab a drink and not have to go back to town or find a safe spot to AFK. You could even read a book while the game grinds your characters if you really want, but that's boring.
And don't forget about the setting, a victorian era MMO is pretty unique and the execution is great. I can't wait for the English version, because I'll play the hell out of it!
Strange Game... But i like it. One thing interesting me - i like play only one character, but in GE we play 2-3 character, can i play alone in my famaly, or it's not profitable ?

There is no publisher for US-EU yet, and chances are big there never will be. Best bet would be the singapore version if you want to play in english.

I am currently playing the japanese version, and well the game is awesome. You could control 1 character or 2 or 3 or any combination with any NPC you meet. It is like playing sokuden, you do some quests/missions offers by various NPC and once you complete a number of them, they will offer you a Player Card, The player card allow you to use the NPC character with certain special stuff.
Basically, the way you play your characters is like a family...or rather headquarter like. Think of it like Guild wars, you have a main base (city) and a straight path that clearly state what level each zone. You go in zone by zone like Guild war basically with your characters. You get the option of save the game (when it is active) or start a new (begin at town, everything stay the same quest you have portal you have remain the same.) Then you control your characters fight hordes of monster like Guild wars (i think more monsters then guild wars) time from time you meet some Miniboss which are killers when you fight 20 monster at the same time.
This game also offer individual instances offered as missions with certain requirement, protection, kill certain monster, or even duel with npc for their cards.
I didn't play too far to understand the guild function yet, (japanese really hate talking to me...) so i don't know what guild does, but i know that guild could control some zones ...maybe seige ? i am not sure.
Graphic wise ...imagine you are playing guildwar gameplay + lineage 2 with alot eye candy.
MUSIC are very good...too.!
But franchising ...will kill a game. Look at how RF online turned out....
I've applied for closed beta. I hope I get in; this game looks like it's gonna rock my socks off Gorgeous graphics, intriguing storyline, fascinating features, man, this is just out there.

Kinda has that FF11 look to it.
I remember a few years back seeing some screenshots and videos from L2 and thinking that must be the greatest game ever. I was wrong

Actually I'm playing ffxii now and the combat and idea is somewhat the same.
You have a bunch of chars you can add to over time, but only 3 can be in party at any time.
Controlling chars during combat is quite similar except of course it's not turn-based in GE.
And you have only one or two big gambits (auto attack, auto hold, auto pickup).
Guilds (factions) can fight other guilds for control of areas.
On the world map below the name of the area it shows you which faction currently controls each area.
I'm not sure what benefits the guilds get from this though.
