Shadowbane: In-Development - Patch 3.0

Ubisoft has done it again with Shadowbane in the development of Patch 3.0, The Secrets of Power.  While plans are still being whipped up, they have been updating their official website with what is potentially ahead.  Here is one of the present plans from the in-development patch notes:

Advanced UI Rewrite

Redoing Shadowbane's User Interface code will result in improved skins support, greater framerates, greater stability, and dramatically easier addition of new features and game improvements. It will also reduce downloads when new features are added. This will also be XML-based so all of you aspiring Skin Artists start brushing up your skills!

Keep an eye out, because the current plans for Patch 3.0 are subject to change.

    Even if these things fixed the game lag and crash issues, its stilll far to late. They should just cancel the game before they start losing money.

    It saddens me SB hasn't done better. I really like the concept of the game, and I thought the game was allot fun in itself, but the general buggyness forced me to cancel my account.

    I fear the "open PvP" idea will suffer to a lack of SB success, while "open PvP" has little to with medicore proformace on the market.

    Oddly enough I was considering re-activation my account. Admin are you interesting in a now and then report?

    does this game even still have much of a user base? i was in beta and seen how inapt the devs where and wrote it off. i had high hopes for this one but the devs fell way short of their vision. is it stable yet have they fixed the lag problems?

    Lag is still there but the game has greatly improved, and with the next new patch it will be even more stable and promisses to fix FPS issues. I had an account but I cancelled because the game had no RP community. I was remarked when I asked if there was a RP Guild: "Shadowbane is medeival counterstrike." Promptly, I left.
