It is nice how honest children are with their opinions. I showed her a few mmorpgs I am playing without saying the titles(not showing her violence content!). Her first reaction to LOTRO was: "Ah this is wow, what dad always plays" She sat at the pc and was able to control the character with ease, as she played wow with her father. Her second reaction was" Too easy, Is this only for babies?" Her third:"This looks dumb". Others were not criticised that harsh (wont say which ones).
Hi, Im gozzgull and I have Diabetis. The other day I got really angry and hit my LOTRO beta, but later my kids told me it died 6 years ago, WHO THE HELL DID I HIT?
This guy's niece is 12, vietnamese, trapped in a small room, and she wasn't describing LOTRO.
LMAO, guys relax, its just a game. Wow, speaking of some addicts here...
Well if its just a game why did you have to come on here and state that it sucks, even though you didn't say it straight? I don't think many of us are the addicts here either, I for one play only one MMORPG at a time. Seems to me like your first post stated you were playing more than two at a time. So I may be smoking, but you're on the crack.
P.S. Using young children to get a point off will not look good in front of others your age. Who cares what a young child thinks of a game they do not understand how to play. If they don't know how and haven't played it then why would anyone in their right mind accept their opinion as a good one? Showing your daughter (or anyone for that matter) a few minutes of footage (not actual gameplay b/c of the 'violence') will not give enough information to provide a decent review.
So I say, this is the most lame, worthless, troll-baited topic I've seen.

Well there's this homeless guy outside my window that keeps raising his middle finger everytime I login to LOTRO, which (i'm guessing) means he doesn't like the end game.....
A 6 year old thinking an RPG is dull and boring is like stating "My 6 year old doesn't like extensive study of nuclear fusion." or "My 6 year old likes cartoons with lots of energy and movement."
RPG's are always "easy" because they are RPG's. If you want difficult, try a reaction or strategy based game, not a roleplaying game.
Maybe Day of Defeat or a FPS game would fit more into a 6 year old's action-packed adventurous and no-depth brain. 6 year olds like fast-movement and lots of energy, not boring ol' role playing.

I see the WoW fanbois are really freaking NERVOUS about the success of LOTRO.
Oh, did the six-year-old girl also READ The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy? Has she perused The Silmarillion?
No? Well -- how could she POSSIBLY appreciate the lore differences?
The UI and game mechanics are user-friendly. Thank you for demonstrating that FAMILIES with younger children will ENJOY playing LOTRO!
BTW -- every time I look at those cartoony WoW graphics I also say, "THIS LOOKS DUMB!"
Nice try. GBTW.

This thread is nothing but troll bait.
Just let it die.
