    Seriously this just makes me wanna puke.. Mythic has done the most horrible thing to this game.. I have lost all hope in this game, and I hope it dies within a minute of the release.

    Last years graphics at that.

    One of the reasons WoW is so successful is because the graphics don't require a gaming computer to run.  I play WoW on a geforce 4400.  It runs well.  Vanguard makes my computer crap out gameboys.



    Warhammer has kept with a grand idea.  Limiting graphics so that lower end computer can still enjoy.  Vanguard, EQ2, and others like it compromise their own player base by pushing the requirement.

    I haters people like you. Don't even look at the game, just on the "Graphics". If you want a game with good graphics, then just stop playing mmorpgs and play games in 360/p3. I beat your even just a little rich kid that gets Asians to powerlevel your nooby characters in WoW and EQ2. I beat once WAR takes over WoW, you'll steal your mommies credit card and buy yourself a powerleveler for WAR.

    not sure why people are even debating this. The OP is clearly scared that his favourite game will hit its autumn years faster than he likes.

    WAR will eat up WoW's PvP server population - linking some early pre-alpha footage won't change that. Watch some current videos and compare those to what current games offer.

    You can't stop it - WAR is coming!

    honestly,the graphics look worse than aseron's call 1,and that game came out 8 years ago..I dont care what stage the game is in,this is march and release is slated for 4th quarter of this year.Theres no way a game can switch engines and get everything rednered 8 months,especially considering beta 1 will be starting sooon.

    Face it WAR fans,the devs went with the cartoony childish kiddy graphics.Everything I asw on this video made me want to puke..

    I had high hopes fro WAR in case VG got boring by then,but "if" i had to judge based on this video,I can be 100% sure I WILL NOT be buying this game at release.I do hope I get to try it out tho,just so I can make my final judgement,but this video almost made my mind up.

    The original poster is right in one thing.The graphics are horrible.Everything else he stated is just speculation and opinionated..

    And to the poster who said the Vanguard guys are looking for a new game to destroy? Well,let me jsut tell you I'm having a blast playing VG..It's highly addictive and alot of fun..The raphics are 100x better than what I just saw in WAR.. I WILL NoT be leaving vg for WAR..That is a promise..

    World of Warcraft is cartoony because previous incarnations of Warcraft were cartoony (see: Warcraft III)



    Warhammer is going to be cartoony because of the tabletop game.  The miniatures are very cartoony and often have very comedic poses.



    If you prefer realistic graphics, Vanguard provides those.  Warhammer, on the other hand, is a game which is based on a product with TWENTY FIVE years of lore and art behind it.  There is no possible way to change what WAR is going to look like without disappointing fans.  Have you watched the podcasts?  The game looks like a ton of fun, and the PR guys and dev people seem really interesting and witty.



    Vanguard, on the other hand, is not based on anything previous.

    This is a plea to all WAR fans. Don't try and justify this game to nay sayers. These are the people that we do not want in the community. Don't try to "convince" them to come play the game when we don't want that trash stinking up the game. Please allow them to continue playing WoW, which, if it was so awesome they would be playing it rather than trolling on another games forum.

    Graphics arent the end all of a game, gameplay trumps graphics every time.



    Of course this game looks like WoW. Wow is a hugely successful game, no matter what people think about it.



    You think it was just a coincidence that mythic aquired the rights to develop this game 6 months after WoW was released. Its very convenient, cause when people say "hey it looks like WoW" they can say  "no, warhammer is 25 years old". I believe in santa clause too.



    The videos ive seen from this game dont look good at all, and ive seen a lot of them, as opposed to Age of Conan, which is supposed to release at the same time as this game. Age of Conan doesnt look like a nintendo game.

    At the bottom is a very early ALPHA video of game play.  If you noticed, the game play is very basic.  The combat is nothing like it is now.  Basically, alpha footage is what the designers of the game give out as an early teaser.



    Also, remember watching Disney movies as a child?  There were always previews of upcoming movies.  Some of these animated features were not complete, and the trailer had some pencil footage.  The final product had no pencil footage.



    So.. your wanting me to download a video that probably you put a virus in just to hack my comp? yeah sorry bud, not doin it.. I've been hacked before of being stupid and downloading a video someone told me to download after ranting on a game that truly sucks. The only thing I could say after reading this post was Wow. Do you lack even a basic understanding of how the Internet works? The video is hosted off WoW's website. How can I tell? Just look at the domain.

    I agree.  The less of the *others* that come here the better of warhammer will be :P  Of course I would like more humiez running around to bash upside the head and more stuntiez lol.  Just make sure that all the fans are in one faction and the *others* are in any other faction :)
