I started about a month after launch give or take.
  • Called in sick on launch day. Had to call in sick again the day after when the servers came up.

I played for about 6 months pre NGE, so far i have not found a game that will fill the gap.... I'm hoping either SOE will change it back, or POTBS will be really good.

Started around July 3-5, 2003 (can not remeber just happen to see it in store around 4th of july)

Left the day before the NGE went live. Sorry do not remeber the date just it was in november.

I started in Beta III, I still have my Beta III email from SOE, stayed when it launched and stood thru till the NGE.  I left after that and only came back to check things out when SOE offered 21 day vet trials which was almost every other month.  I did almost all the professions but my favorite was creature handler, got my first rancor with those skills. Man do I miss those days.

Nothing SOE does now will ever capture those past enjoyments or the population that Pre-CU once had.

three weeks after beta  up until  I read about nge  2 weeks before nge hit    so  how is the jedi bounty hunter game these days ???

You want loot? Go kill some npcs, you wanna visit hades? come find ME, and dont forget to bring coins for the ferryman,

since beta I...then i quit after a couple months of nge...maybe 2 months then came back on when they had one of those 10-day trials...wasnt surprised to see NO ONE in eisley. i really miss ch, be, and the player bh's...if they put player bounties back in the game, everyone except the bh's would be dead then swg would be gone without their players!

MUAHAHAHAH!!! sorry, i'm in a really nasty mood of flaming them right now it's not even funny!!

I started playing SWG in mid-July of '03.  It was about two weeks after launch as I recall.  I played up until late November of '05  which was right after the NGE.  I played much of that time with two active accounts.  In a way I suppose I still have an active SWG account as I do have an active Station Account which includes my main SWG account, though I don't ever log in anymore save for an occassional run down memory lane every few months for about 30mins before the NGE controls drive me around the bend.

Beta 3 till about a month after the last expansion, in that time I think I had been just about every crafting profession and and 75% of the combat professions, my first love was my ch/bio bothan, ah bring back the good old days when I used to train and sell Greater Sludge Panthers for new CH's for a whooping 25k which was a lot of money back then!

Start of Beta 2 -- BRIA server... when smuggler had artisan in the last tree instead of drugs (no joke)... and when you had to run to get your body...after you bit it fighting a dewback.

Stayed there until canceling on Nov 15th -- otherwise known as D-day (aka Dumming down day).

First Mastery - Ranger -Followed by CH... (on live)

Last -  Bio Engy/Chef (For the 3rd time) on main -- about 135 badges before ToOW.

Pre-9 Jedi Knight.. FRS -- from when it took some effort and time.. and funding... Oh lord the funding.

Did all the profs, alot more then 3 times.. made millions, guild, city etc..

Did all I could and had a blast in it while it lasted, Bria was great forums in the morning and a good playerbase.

We liked to push it and at the Fan fests we kicked great ass... The first TC server and always first live test server.

In the end most of us left at the CU and NGE -- the CU held alot, but the NGE was the final blow to most of the hardcore Brian's.. Most left while some did stay to try to hold on to the magic population.

    Kinda sad...

At one time we had (FULL) as our status and you could not make new toons there....lol that tells ya how bad...

I played from Launch to CU.  Tried it once after CU and pre NGE, and then a couple go's at NGE never lasting more than a week.

Same here basically, I could not log on the 27'th

At midnight, on the 15'th of November 2005, I drank a bottle of Bacardi 151 and uninstalled SWG.  On the day before I deleted all of my characters except for the first one I ever made, I just could not delete/kill him.  And I still have not gotten over that bitterness, when I think about it, I just get pissed.
