i had a horrible experience with Dungeon Runners and its game company called NCsoft. Their support is lousy, dont expect to get fast feedback. They make their own patches, despite the advice from the experienced playerbase. After last patch (0.49) the game have become a booring grind..
they say the game is out of beta and charges you money to become a member, still you need to get a invite key in order to try the game.

Witty saying to amuse you goes here.
Wow this game just sucks, I didnt get past the stupid character creation screen because I cannot stand games with only 3 classes and one race, lmao just pathetic. I can understand why gw only has one race but omg in a d n d game thats just boring. That and everything I hear about it, anyways try lotr I hear its great im going to buy a pre order box. Thinking of reinstalling gw tonight and see if I can try to get back into it
I would play nwn2 but I just dont understand the dnd rules in the game, and the camera needs work.
Im not all that fond of nc soft honestly, I do play cox time to time but for instance there perofmrance is just horrible and its been like this for a very long time, I have known people to buy brand new super high tech cpus and still have all these issues but if they played other games like eq2 it runs fine compared to cox. The only thing they might have done right is gw because its free.
I am not here to prove anything, im simply explaining my experience and what ive read and heard from my friends, I will never play a game with super limited choices like that espically a typical dnd I can play titan quest for that and have more variety except for races. And yes this part of the game sucks, as for gameplay well I decided the game was not worth the effort.

(Personally) it brings nothing new to the table (except for the 'cute' names for weapons - I was hitting things with cardboard swords?!) to really make it stand out from all the other MMOs & other any of the Diablo clones.
DR is a game designed for casual players.
There is no "class" as such as characters can choose skills from any of the adventuring spheres - Ranger, Warrior, Mage. They can also wear any armour and equip any weapon.
The choice you make at character select is more cosmetic than anything else - there are some passive traits that will boost stats a little differently on level up but then there are also points you get to spend yourself.
Those are the reasons that mean only one character per account is needed.
If you are a casual player, like to mix and match skills and enjoy D2 type dungeon crawls then you will probably enjoy this game.
It is completely free to download and play; if you want membership privileges it will cost $5 per month but the game is completely doable without membership bonuses.
NCSoft are publishing the game, they are not the developers.

Its easy to say that because its sorta a cheapy game that it is made for casual gamers, but I think it will attract a lot of hardcore gamers too who like to just lay around and do solo runs for items (like good ol' Diablo 2).
DR is by no means like traditional mmos though and it would be silly to compare it to WoW, EQ2, EVE, ect ect. Maybe you can compare it to some of the other free to play/subscription games though, that would be much more fair. NCSoft is hoping to fill a niche and make some cash without a huge initial investment and I think they are probably gonna do pretty well with their little hack n slash mmo.

There are some great comedic references to the world of Diablo and a few other things, but the gameplay got stale really fast for me. The thing that made D2 so engaging (for me) was the really cool story that Blizzard wrote. Without that, the click-to-attack-until-your-wrist-sounds-like-a -cement-mixer gameplay just isn't that much fun.
Overall... DR is barely a distraction for me. I played it a short time, and I don't think I will anymore. Once the comedy in Townston goes stale, there's really very little left.
I do, however, still like the ranger trainer's line:
"I have a bird's eye. It's in this pocket!"
--------
"Give a man a fire, and he is warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he is warm for the rest of his life."
oh and btw. I didnt like the graphics too
I enjoy this game in brief bursts, an hour or so at a time when I feel like some hack and slash fun. It's D2 revisited with some comic relief. But I'm not about to pay $5 a month for it.
but more dated than that
like a Diablo cum Gauntlet (for those who are old enough to remember) hybrid that would have wowed us in the 1980's, but only lasted a few hours on my harddrive in 2007
I uninstalled the game and told them why in the little survey, some might enjoy this but it wasnt for me.

Definitely not a game to be played for more than a short duration at a time - it can become quite tedious.
It is a distraction game (and as such it is fine) - play it once or twice a week as change of pace.
I've seen worse...
CoH: Mr E-Man, Energy Arc, IG-2112MD, Slayer Faith, Master TimeLord Mr E-Being
CoV: Mr E-Villain, Dark Willow, Cold Satisfaction, Mr E-Mech, Mr E-Lectric

This game is interesting to say the least, but its getting a lot of negative flak for good reason. However, it does have some things going for it that are quite different from most other MMO's on the market, epically free2play ones. The main part is they way your character has no boundaries on its equipment, you can equip anything, and its stat placement, you can put your xp points anywhere. I know this is something that has been done before, but here it is simple to understand and easy to do. So you can be a battle mage with huge amour, or a monk like class with loads of DMG but no everything in physical combat.
However, most of the other factors outweigh this, such as too much dungeon grind and next to no character customization that does not even have an option to choose skin colour which is just as bad as if the game only let you play as a man. Its a mixed bag, but for people who don't want to pay fro their MMO's it's definitely worth a look just to see if it your cup of tea, as I played it for a good few hours without becoming bored.
Oh yeah, and the comedy really adds a sense of character why you are in the town, as each shopkeeper says different things in an audio clip that genuinly bring a smile to your face, as so some of the item names.
Ncsoft has a few good games on their name tho. lineage1 and 2, auto assault , city of heroes, guild wars.... so i dont see why ppl are suddently whining if they screw up 1 game ( and even thats an opinion shared not by all )
I was fully aware of what phase the game was in when I logged in and witnessed the lack of substance. The game needs far more than beta testing, in my opinion.
