It looks okay but it's really just your basic Korean grind. The 3 party system is an interesting concept but it really takes alot of the control away from you to the point where all you do is watch your characters fight. You don't even have to pick up items by yourself anymore, they do it for you. There is basically no character customization, you choose from 3 or 4 characters at the start and you meet and collect more as you level up. Unless you spend money at the item shop you'll look just like every other player in your level range until you get to the higher levels.
I can see why people could have fun with it, but now that they announce a monthly fee on top of the item shop I am avoiding this at all cost. If I am paying even $9.00 a month for the game I don't want to have to pay extra to give my character some originality.

How exactly is it your "Basic Korean grind"? The version running on the Singapore open Beta was 1.8, the live version will run on 2.0 . 2.0 adds 3 times the amount of content, most of the time you will be completing quests, and it doesn't take much longer then a month, maybe 2, to reach the cap. so I'd like to know what you describe as "Basic Korean grind".There won't be expansion pack.
But then again the game get very boring, there is alot content but you will found yourself really "GRINDING" for them to reach it. GE is similar to GW in better 3d graphic...they both follow a leveling map and quest system (kill xx, collect xx, defeat xx, duel xx for his character)
It will get boring, i could gurantee that. Korean might love it, i sure don't (i am currently playing on japanese GE 2.1 and the server i am at is so quiet and 1 guild owns all maps ...basically no one plays even if it is free to play)
none
What do you mean GW in 3D...GW is in 3D already, with pretty good graphics for it's time too...
Yeah, that actually is a really good price, most games cost 40-50, 20 is low, and the monthly price, while annoying, is just over half that of say, any other large MMO out there, (Lineage, WoW, Everquest to say a few) most of which are 15 a month. So I do agree, if it turns out to have good gameplay, then it would be an excellent price for a complete MMO, especially if the expansions don't cost a bundle. Even if they aren't saying so right now, there WILL be an expansion if the popularity stays steady.
It is being run by K2 for heavens sake.
They are the last people on this earth I would ever divulge credit card information due to their last fiascos!
If any reader here has any sense stay away from this game by all means!

It's not a bad thing, it's just not my style.
What I mean by grind is that the majority of my experience with the game was killing monsters, killing monsters for quests, and killing monsters to collect items for quest. I didn't feel like I had much control of my characters as everything seemed to be done for me, and even if you reach the level cap quickly that doesn't change the fact that it has the same endless grind. Obviously that wasn't my only problem with the game. Maybe they have revamped it since I played it but it's just not fun for me so no I would not consider it the best MMORPG ever but I'm glad you enjoy it.
So you are going to pay a monthly fee but if you want to change the way you look then you have to dish out even more cash to the item shop. So I guess everyone will look like clones after all in K2N's version. All this after buying the box too! This just proves all my earlier statements that all K2N wants is your money. What the hell is a monthly fee for if there is also an item shop? What do you actually get for paying the monthly fee? The ability to log on?
This has got to be the most idiotic payment scheme I have ever seen set up in a online game. But I am not surprised because it is K2N that we are talking about after all. MILK THE PLAYERS FOR ALL THEIR WORTH, MILK THE PLAYERS FOR ALL THEIR WORTH, MILK THE PLAYERS FOR ALL THEIR WORTH.....Yada, yada, yada.
K2N has got to be the greediest company I have ever seen. They will find a way to charge you for every little thing and charge for things that should be standard in the game. Take my advice and stay FAR FAR away from K2N. Play the Singapore version instead. IAH looks far more professional than these crooks.
GE isn't too bad, though I did get bored of it a few weeks after first trying it out, once the novelty of the 3 char system was worn out.
Ill just wait for Perfect world online instead of giving anything to K2. Box + Monthly fee + Optional item shop, erm no thanks, not for a game that is f2p elsewhere, i find it hard to belive that K2 will do anything substantial enough to warrent there pricing scheme.

You've said it's possible to reach max level in a month or two. So what do people do after they've reached max level? What is the end game like?

I played the beta for this for a few weeks (until I lost the beta password that you couldn't change or reset) and its a really fun game.
I don't think I would put it in an "rpg" catagory, its more like a squad based action game.
Looks like the pricing is fair for the quality you will be getting. As long as that item shop doesn't impact game mechanics, sounds good.
I don't know all the details since I haven't reached lvl 100 yet in version 2.0
