I will make my first character a Gnome Warlock or Necromancer b/c it is my tradition to always have my first character a gnome when they are available.

I never have cared to play the short races much in EQ, so for EQ2 I will likely start as a Kerran scout, then from there I will most likely either follow the path of Brigand, or Assassin.
I play a Vah Shir rogue in EQ, might as well start with something I already know how to do, then try other races/classes.
im thinking i will be a gnome templar but will make my final decision after more class info is released

In regards to what race and class, probably a Half-elven Ranger. It has been a few years since I've played EQ so when I get a chance to play EQ2, keeping fingers crossed its beta

Looks like gonna play a kerra rogue, Haven't decided sub-class yet. Always enjoyed rogue in EQLive.
I would play an Iksar monk only if the monk class was like it used to be WAAAAAY back in the Kunark era of EQ.
It seems that everyone is sticking with the traditional race/class combos. I think the idea of any race/any class really opens alot of unique avenues.
Being a big fan of the frogloks I think I'd start of with something that no one would expect like a Froglok Bruiser or Dirge. I like the idea of a large race (Barb, Troll Ogre) running around with a little mandolin singing bard songs. I'm sure the stats will suffer and I'll never get a group(
) but ateast I'll be original.
im going to be a paladin, the problem is.. i cant think of what race.
i definetly do NOT want to be a human, that is the most boring race of all.
