Hey, just an observation based on second hand reports I have seen from roman friends who travel in and raid the barbarian lands north of Hadrian's Wall regularly: During the two weeks since these barb players were banned and since The Nervii Warband also officially exited the game, the active barbarian population has more than doubled and they are starting to defeat the romans in battles now.
Are these events perhaps connected? Hmmmmmm?

my point being, times change, how can you still have a valid opinion of me when you haven't met me in ages?
The people who sent you the PM, they're jobs are to ban anyone who violates the rules, correct? They did nothing wrong.
Promised you leniency did they? Well, would you have confessed if they didnt? It's they're job and they did it correctly.
This is similar to the threads about L2 where some noob complains that he griefed and ganked and was killing by people more powerful than him. If you dont know, let me enlighten you, in L2 when someone kills another person who doesnt fight back they're names become red. Marking them as a ganker or griefer who gets his kicks out of killing low levels. When these "red names" get killed by people more skilled than them they make threads about how L2 punishes PVP'ers too harshly.
Why do i think this thread is similar to L2's noob threads? Because you and the L2 noobs need to learn to accept the consequences of your actions.

If you we're in the GM's position ( or whoever banned you ) would you say "Confess so we can ban you!"? Its not nice, but they are payed to ban exploiters one way or another.

To not exploit in future MMORPG's they play, or atleast that they'll have a better chance by not confessing.
Its like hacking, would you tell a GM your hacking if he says "FESS UP!" , If he indeed knew you were hacking you'd have been banned on the spot.

I could tell them to blow me, which is what I would do... Not that I cheat but I am not going to bend over or lay down for a company... Then, I'd warn other people away from the game using word of mouth and word of keyboard.
it has happened before and will again, I'm apparentyl the only one dumb enough to care enough about this game to actually want to play it and speak out at this point...

all I asked for was an explanation as to why we were treated differently.. they gave none, if they'd said :'" we put all the names in a hat..." even that's an explanation.
they won't stop me from playing much longer anyway, I'll be back soon enough.
I see no reason why you would expect the leniency they offered when you didn't do as they requested. They wanted details on how/what you were doing to cause the exploit so they would not have to waste the resources trying to track it down themselves. All you did was admit you were knowingly exploiting - a fact they were already aware of, hence the reason you were contacted in the first place!

This discussion is pointless.
This "discussion " was pointless from the beginning,except for seeing how the banned would act.Their entire attempt to "paint" themselves as victims of some evil dev conspiracy that singled them out for unfair punishment was laughable from the start.
The continuing "look at poor poor me, i was so unfairly treated for my bad deeds" posts are so funny its sad.
The contiuned INTENTIONAL (and otherwise) inaccuracies in those posts to try and make themselves look like victims is funny as heck and even sadder.
You know what i would call "immature" ?
1)The inability to accept punishment for ones bad acts.
2)The defence of the bad acter,due to some personal tie to or likeness of to said actor by others .
3) The continuing "crying about how the punishment was too strong"
4)That they even felt the need to come here and cry in this thread to begin with.
It all smells of that most immature of qaulities, the inability to take thier punishment like a grown up and actually accept responsibilty for their actions.

the forum search problem was because as a guest on those forums(hadn't logged in), you can't search the participants forums...

if you're going to use figures of speech at least try to get them right... it has nothing to do with the kettle being silver.... this may sound confusing, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense...
Its like u went into a store, took up a bottle of XX which costs 5$ then u swap the price tag with something that cost 1$ and when u get caught and thrown out u think its weird thay threw u out
