Good game but is it posible for me to actualy view some gameplay and get info like who will provide the worlds severs and how much will they charge. Will there be good in game service, and can the penicle of sucess actualy be obtained with in a year?
2. Funcom will be in charge of the world servers. I would assume the standard going rate of about $15 a month will be the charge. Of course they will probably offer cheaper rates if you pay for multiple months at a time.
3. Funcom has probably THE best in game customer service out of any mmo ever created hands down! This is very evident in Anarchy Online where they have what they call the ARK program. I believe Funcom is going to have a similar program in AoC.
I'm not very good at pvp, I'm more of a support player, I would prefer to keep melee and/or casters up. I figure a buff and healing class is the way to go for me. That being said, I read through some of the details in regards to the game, and the reason I want to play it is for the curiosity. I would love to see how my support/healing class can benefit those that do damage.
Calling non-carebears 'rapists' is about as bad as PKer's calling non-PKers, carebears.. if not worse.
Besides that, theres actually quite a lot to AoC that isn't 'PK.' Such as.. a bounty hunter system. You kill to many newbies or people way below your level, a group of NPC soldiers hunts your arse down.
Seriously, theres in depth crafting, city building, an all but guaranteed good amount of RP content (solely based on the fact that Anarchy Online, Funcoms first MMOG, has the most RP content in the genre, by far. So AoC is sure to have at least a bit. )
<-- semi-carebear non PK who thinks AoC is gonna be 'the shit' and is an avid Funcom fan!
I'm excited that it's coming out for the X-BOX and will have rad console video-game controls! Wewt!
I have heard that Microsoft will release an addon for the X-box that will toast six slices of bread at the same time, it's expected to become the next big thing with skyrocketing sales in china and japan.

1. There are plenty of gameplay video's out and about. Funcom has some on their site, but you can find more on YouTube. http://community.ageofconan.com/wsp/conan/frontend.cgi?session=6izovbm4d5vsrkuru6nrxkptsynl8p&func=frontend.show&func_id=1022&template=inc_media_listing&selected=1022

You left out one of the most important appeals.
Playing in a world based on Robert E Howard's Hyboria.
To explore the world of Conan of course!
I don't care much for PvP but I will try it.
I call them "brawlbears"
(the PK:ers that is)
