will of the forsaken is by far the best racial any race has got, in short its a tool that helps u against the most overpowered class in the game (warlocks)
recently when blood elves came out i had a good think about it but i still think wotf is better because taking enemies mana and silencing them for 2 seconds isnt a big deal.. fighting something like a rogue or a warrior where silencing and mana tapping wont do anything isnt gonna help
now ur probebly thinking but not ever class fears? right?
true very true but u see fear for warlocks/priests/warriors are such a vital skill that if it doesnt work it at most times determines between life and death where as taking a little bit of the enemies mana isnt gonna do much, coz u see fights are usually over and done with before they even go oom
NOTE: Blood elf pallies are the most oped pally race though! reason:
if ur a paladin u will know how paladin vs paladin fights end up... long and boring, but if a blood elf paladin is in the picture the blood elf pally taps there mana/silences there heals as well as gaining mana back... which is :O awsome! im a human and going 1v1 against be pally is harder then any paladin iv ever fought
for pve thought blood elves are good, in raids u could mana tap the boss and keep gaining back mana... which is nice
NOTE: u will never get a raid boss oom or silence them so its just good for gaining mana back
I feel Blood Elves have ruined the Horde, since now every other Horde is a Blood Elf. I must say they do look good compared to the other races, and I guess that is the problem.

I must say though, the mana tap appears to be different from the op's view to my experience of it. I've found that mana tap itself is so useless after level 40 that I don't even have it on my qb any more (3 mana taps stacked up, arcane torrent will JUST give enough mana for 1 shadowbolt). Arcane torrent is useful though, as not only is it a short term silence, the key point, it interupts casts aswell. So if you've got a mage getting a fireball ready, for example, a quick arcane torrent, and they've got a pause, then have to restart the cast. It's as important against casters as will of the forsaken is against fear. Not game breaking, but handy.

i personally like playing orcs because for some reason i think they are the most fun to play
but undead would probably be the best because of wotf
it's not the design of a race that makes it original, it's the stories and the lore behind it, something that Blizzard have put a lot of thought into. They made something that looks immediately familiar, but has it's own unique background.

I hate when people say that. Grow up. What class a person decides to play wont change what their personality is. People are rude before they sit down at the keyboard. Do you think the nicest person in the world is going to sit down and start up a WoW character and then when they pick the palading class POOF! they become lame? No. If you are lame you are lame if you arent you arent.

Ok, past World of Warcraft player but I had 6 Level 60 Horde compared to only my 2 60 Alliance characters.

Orcs also ok for people that like pets if they're a Hunter, which most don't, for their plus to pet Damage.

Shaman
Druid
Paladin
Rogue
Mage
Warlock
I played WoW horde from release all the way up to a few days after TBC. Race, class, whatever. People are people and they will always be who they are.

Most people who go into the Pyro-Blast build [I was Arcane/Fire pre-BC with my Undead Mage], usually go into Presence of Mind for an Instant Pyroblast.
Now that people actually go fully into fire, maybe that is not the case.
I just hardly saw Troll Mages before BC because most people were smart enough not to waste their time on it.
You could use Presend of Mind for your pyro, and beserk for anything else.

They made something that looks immediately familiar, but has it's own unique background. warcrafts stuff is stolen directly from warhammer but no your right lots of time and thought put in to. Normally i wouldnt bring up things being stolen cause in all honesty it doesn't matter, but this example is kind of infuriating and blatantly obvious they barely have different names for crying out loud.
i like orc the best and before it got nerfed they did have the best racial imo, 25% to stun resist was bad ass but now? definitely not as good but i still like orc the best.
