If I try to follow your traibn of thought then I can fly off the handle amd surmise that Both those companies are following Simutronics example but in a limited way. dude... back in the days not one company would make the public wait half as much as blizzard does... this isnt a good thing by the way, if nc soft is copying blizzard in making us wait for games then nc soft needs a slap to the head
star craft 2 has been announced a week ago... watch how many years later it will be released... watch

I'm sick and tired of every game manufacturer or game for that matter be it MMO or what not being compared to Blizzard or one of there games. Blizzard and WoW are not the end all be all of the gaming industry or MMOs. Do you realize how many games Blizzard itself copied to make WoW or Diablo? Every game developer copies ideas and practices from each other, not every just copies off of Blizzard.
And I do believe Starcraft 2 has a release date of 10/1/08 so it's not years but an average time now a days.
