    I hope you never get into a beta, that isnt right. Especially for taking advantage of those extremely rich people buying accounts for 500 dollars when it doesnt even last that long....

    We were just under the 12,000 mark.  Largest contest ever by a long shot.  We had 8,500 in the Dragon Empires contest which was the 2nd biggest one...

    A better question would be when does the beta even start? I heard lots of different guesses ranging from the end of June to the middle of August...  Might be even later knowing SOE...

    Alpha: Guild Wars
    Beta: Saga of Ryzom + Risk Your Life
    Playing: City of Heroes
    Interested: WOW & EQII (yeah, both... deal with it)

    I heard SOE might not even be doing an open beta for EQ2... well, the game will suffer and probably be like SWG was for the first month.  Very unstable!

    OMG, you mean the beta hasn't started yet? Doh, no wonder when I check fansites i'm not reading anything new. lol I thought it had started already. I'm getting ancy. When I didn't win the beta I actually thought about buying #1. I stopped playing about 2 years ago. I was um.... an addict. But i'm sure i'm more mature now and can control myself. *crosses fingers*image
