This has to be one of the best games I have ever played. From the Graphics to the way the animation has been done, to the actually story lines that have been put in place.
Each class has it's own little way of doing something and using a special little mix of normal skills and a counter power system when in combat.
The addition of the diplomacy makes a real change from the normal based MMO's.
One thing to note though, try and get on a RP server. They type of player is out to have fun, and is always willing to help with Quests, plus the player base is a little more healthier.
There will always be people, that will not like this because it is being run by SOE, but they are probably the type that will only ever drive a Ford all there lives, lack imagination.
Give it a try.

p.s. what level are you?
99.00001% of the time I dont know what im saying
99.99% of the time I know I spelled the word wrong or repeated a sentence.. I did it so you can better your grammar
100.00% of the time if to many people post after my post very mad ill most likely with a 5% chance saying something like ....""
100.00% of the time I lack sleep and magical things come out of my head and type my posts for me? Please yell at the magical things not me... I am but a puppet
I like to try the other classes as it gives me a better feel for game as a whole and I can also get to read the Diplomacy quests through. The stories are great.
You are on the verge of hitting the point where the cool quests start to dry up. From about level 25 on the game starts to take on this half-baked quality. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Hopefully sometime in the future they will have the time and money to complete the rest of the experience.
I saw someone liken it to an aumsement park that ran out of money before it was completed. The signs and the main gates are there. And the tickets counters are there and charge you admission. But as you get inside things change. At first the rides and resteraunts seem complete but as you progress through the park you start to see that many of the rides are closed or not working. After a while you start to find that what you thought was rides are really fascades and the whole thing begins to take on this creepy, deserted feeling.
You should play some other MMOs
If you think Vanguard is great, the other MMOS will give you a joygasm.
But on a serious note,
Wait until you hit lvl 32, that's when then the nice quests goes away and you can clearly tell where the DEVs had to pick up the pace to release it. Everything is great at the earlier lvls and then its like an abandoned fun house after that. But, glad you liked it

We have a number of level 50 players in our Guild and they say there are no problems with Quests. I guess you guys are just not looking in the right area. With a proper sized guild with the correct level of knowledge of the game then this game is a winner.
Too many negative comments.
Even by your own community, no problems with quests hmm...

We have our first poll for the Vanguard community. We would like your assistance in prioritizing our efforts to correct issues that most affect your game play. Please choose the issue that you would like to see the team focus on first. This does not mean that the other issues will be ignored. We will be working on all of these over time; however we would like your help in setting our first goal.

Bought the game at release, but didn't carry on past the free month.
My PC could barely run the game (P4C 2.8, Radeon 9800pro, 1GB Ram) without tuning the graphic settings down to a very sad looking thing, not even speaking of frequent crashes, environmental bugs, omnipresent freezes and lags etc... this game really lacked the professional polish you can expect from a pay per month game.
Anyway, I leveled 5 characters up to 10-15, and really enjoyed the fact each class has its own gameplay and the skill/combo/counter system looked very promising to me.
I might get back to it when I'll update my rig, depending on other MMOG released in the meantime.
Wasn't saying there is a problem with the quests itself. Im saying there isn't nowhere near enough as compared to more contemporary MMOs (as well as content) and you can tell there was going to be but the DEVs stopped and released it.
Vanguard has only 30% of the amount of quests than WoW, EQ2, DaoC, and Lineage 2. That's what Im talking about. For the most part the quests are ok. Its the sheer lack of them and the content that isn't. Hope that clears any misunderstandings.
Tis a shame too cause it could have been an official AAA MMO. But you never know, SOE may save it. But don't tell Admriker that!

Still, ginding in those awesome dungeons is so fun...You gotta admit that the dungeons (outside ones or inside) are beautiful.

Hmm... I`m lvl 33 and never ever ran out of quests. Sorry... Guess were not playing the same game or you are like lvl 50 and expecting something to do... Even LOTRO don`t have much high lvl content ATM.

Glad to see the improvements and looking forward to see what else they come up with.

Fully agree, there are enough Quests And Content if you know where to look and go. I will admit there are area's that do lack both, but that can be buit upon and make the game even better.
There is plenty to do to get you to 50 without issue. This game has only got better since launh.

lineage 2 and quests?, you must be kidding, only quests that are profitable and you must do them are the class change ones, xping in this game is boring grind fest. i can hardly imagine mmo with less quests than lineage 2Welcome back to the internet Brad.
Oh come on....

Lineage 2 is an example of a game that doesn't use quests in the traditional sence.
It's as far from being a quest based game you can get, and possibly has fewer then VG. Most of L2's quests are repeatable and can be done of several levels. Not a good comparison.
Wish Darkfall would release.

I play VG...love VG and will be playing VG for a long time to come!
Play Vanguard ! The game that sucks less than the rest !

Hay enigma, if you hate the game so much why would you play all the way to level 32? What was your characters name and what server did you play on?
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
