Why Ac2 sucks

in Asheron's Call 2 : Fallen Kings

I bought AC2 like 1 day after its release. At first i thought it was...alright...in the first few hours...but then i figured it sucks because

 

it is too damn slow

character class suck compared to skill based (Ac 1)

its sequel (or you might call it prequel) AC1 is too damn good

ac 2 just sucks...who wants to be a tumerok anyway?

pvp is no fun

no loot on kill ? why?If you now tell me you can loot , i dont give a ,  because pvp sucks on ac2 ,and will always

the grafics are nice...gameplay worth

untrain skills so you can not gimp your chars? that must be fun if everyone has the same template in the end...what a gread idea...wooooooooooooo

    How can you downgrade a game you obviously never played.  Therre are so many different player templates some people have more than 20 unique characters.  Don't talk about that whhich you have no clue.

    yeha right....i played the game since its release...so what...when im lvl 50 and your lvl 50...i can easily be exactly the same character like you when i hit lvl 52,despite the equipment....untrain sux,....ac2 sux..no depth in this game...

    You say you've played since release yet you say you can't loot anything after you kill it... are you sure you're playing Asheron's Call 2?

    I believe he's talking about PvP and that player corpses drop no loot. In that he's completely correct.

    im doing the trail AC@ and its ok, there is loot on the mobs, you just need to tell it weather you want the gold or the items. i use the items to make things sometimes but most time i jut tell it to make them into gold.

    I just found these boards and I am amazed...

    WHY people who obviously have no clue about game, come on its boards and bash it.... It's like if I would go to EverQuest boards and post "It sux, 'cause I heard your quests take forever to complete".

    Not that AC2 is a good game, but your facts are all wrong. Too slow? You mean lag or progression? Lag is bad yes, progression is not slow(ex-EQ player). I like the skill-based tree, which you claimed is not in this game which it is. I too bought at release and there has always been loot, wtf are you talking about? You didn't play this game, your an idiot. Again not saying AC2 is a good game, because its not. Just get your facts correct before posting.

    do you really think i would say something like "you can not loot when killing mobs"? you dumb or something? probably carebear, go back to your pk lite server...carrrrebear thats all i can say

    and when i say the game is too slow.i dont mean the lag nor progress.and im no eq player either...eq sux even harder..but the pvp there is better..at least you can loot on 1 server..(maybe more now didnt play in years) ,when i say the game is too slow..I MEAN THE GAMEplay not the lag or level progress, the game itself is too fuckin slow,is it like for people who cant coordinate their fingertips?

    or who suffer elephantitis?

    so bye...all you carebears go level with your internetfriends without pvp...CAREBEAR thats what you are...

    If you want a fast paced all action game, then choose one, this is an MMORPG - sounds like FPS games ure up your street so go play them!

    I dont see how it is considered slow... AC2's combat system is FAR faster than that of many other games.

    I guess that you probably havn't participated much in the fort raids and pvp that has been running rampant on the "carebear" servers.

    I would also say a FPS is your cup of tea...

    dude this game rocks, yeah there isnt much diversity in ways u can make ur temp, but it doesnt matter about ur temp, its how u play ur class

    Slow? ;)  It goes extremely fast.  Combat is fast-paced and fun.

    AC1 is good...

    I've got four or five Tonk characters (all different!) ;)

    PvP is a blast!

    Umm.. oh, loot. Yes... I loot.

    Graphics are awesome.

    Untrain?  Yes, I switch skills every once in a while.  Very nice to be able to do.

    Umm, did u play this game for like a week? This combat system is teh fastest. And like one person said. If u want a fast p ace game go play Halo or something. THIS IS A MMORPG and Ac2 is a fast pace game, compared to the others. Tell me what MMORPG u are currently playing.

    I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.

    I've played many MMORPGs and am enjoying AC2 a lot, this alone is an argument, I can't really tell why, but I've played The 4th Coming (my first) for 2 years, DAoC for 2 years and a half, Anarchy Online for a month, SWG for 8 months and am now on AC2. This game is fun, it may not have features other games have, the graphics may not be as good as upcoming EQ2 but still it does what a game is supposed to do : entertain you, and it entertains me more than the above stated games, DAoC and SWG had sources of frustration and boring tasks more than any other game, harsh penalties and complicated systems.

    AC2 may not be the best in any particular field : SWG crafting system is better, DAoC PvP/RvR is larger, DAoC server technology is awesome, AO world/atmosphere is more innovative, EQ is too much about "power gamers", Lineage 2 is too empty of roleplay content it's all about counterstrike-like PvP. But AC2 is the most fun. Some character classes are funny : alchemists turn into a hilarious Incredible Hulk like creature and hiverkeepers throw angry bees at their enemies :)

    There are many tumeroks now, and the skill system and advancement well it just take a few levels to get used to, but then every other mmorpg has it's learning curve, and AC2 has one of the shortest.

    I tend to power game a lot when there's a MMORPG I like... I can remember putting in 15 hours on Lineage II... I would sit there all night on SWG.

    That's just me though. . .

    Thats because the screenshots are not terribly great on MMORPG.com.... perhaps you should try the trial and then come in commenting on the graphics.... Or atleast go to ac2hq.com or accmty.com and look at some of their screenies... they are much better...

     

    Anyone know where you can offer up some screenies for MMORPG.com to post?? I have some sweet ones image

    yeah i loooked on ign and the official website ... not on mmorpg .com ... and i thought they sucked .. i mean they were bland as hell .. it was just like someone had got several shade of green and used a spray brush to coat the level editor with
