I play D&D 3.5e right now, in the Eberron setting. Showing my D&D street cred here, but I have always liked Dark Sun setting the best, followed by Planescape and Spelljammer (Just to weird not to like).
My current game is fridays nights. I play with a group over Ventrilo. We use instant messangers for linking maps and photos. Photo bucket for home made stuff and the d20 site for all the rules linking one could ever want. I'll admit, not quite as fun as sitting in the same room, but at least I get to listen to my tunes and don't have to share the pizza!
I have played vitually all "mainstream" RPGs, and quite some lesser known ones, but atm my preferences in order of interest would be:
1.) Tribe 8 2.) Space: 1889 3.) Living Steel 5.) Legend of the Five Rings
Hollow Earth Expedition from Exile Games looks very promising too though, but I havent yet checked it out. Sadly atm, we are doing a compromise (out of organizational reasons) and play D&D 3rd Ed., though I plan to change to one of the above mentioned games soon(tm).
Oh, and yes Mechwarrior kept me entertained for some very long time

Designers need to move away from the old D&D level-based model which was never designed for player vs player combat in the first place.
I'm involved in several Champions/Hero campaigns including superhero, pulp, golden age, and sci-fi. (I'm in three groups and two of them alternate campaigns.) I wouldn't mind being in more. Maybe try out BESM 3rd ed or some d20 game. While it's not a pen & paper RPG, having a board game day would be fun too.

I would love to play paranoia again....I'd also like it to get the MMO treatment

I currently am playing in a Hero system based fantasy campaign that has been running, with a few breaks, for more than 15 years.
I also play in a sci fi home brewed hybrid system.
