We all know from the polls taken here and from various conversations that people who are looking forward to WAR are leaning strongly in the direction of Chaos.
While things may balance out after launch.. with less "hardcore" WAR fans being more likely to choose order I think we may very well wind up with a reasonable ratio of players on each team...... but I strongly suspect that Chaos is going to own the hell out of order in RvR.... This makes me sad because I always choose the underdog team and I'm getting tired of getting my ass handed to me because my "team" is full of idiots who refuse to work together, while my opponent is organized and efficient.
I really dont want to play chaos.. I love the orcs and the chaos.. but it's just a lot easier for me to be immersed playing as a human or a dwarf. I just dont feel like an orc!
It's kinda funny, Orcs are my favorite race in Warhammer.. but I don't really want to play one. If i do get forced to chaos I'll probably play chosen.. even though I think the greenskins are much cooler... I just can't handle picturing myself as a hulking green monster.

Well.. my goal was to explain why its going to be difficult for me to choose... and I was hoping others who want to play order, but hesitate because they dont want to get spanked by being a "goody" in a PvP game yet again, might disucuss their views and concerns.
As far as the things you quoted me saying.. I dont think they contradict one another I think that while Order and Chaos might not be imbalanced as far as actual numbers, they will be imbalanced in PvP based on skill and organization.
In reference to what I said about orcs and chaos, I love to look at them and read about them, but I don't want to spend hundreds of hours "being" one. My MMO toons are an extension of myself... I play the character that looks and feels like it fits me... not the one I think is coolest.
This is probably too late, to where you won't read this, but I am going to play Order, yeah i'll have a destruction character...and yes it will be chaos, I just can't help myself =[ , and if you think about it (which i have) in all movies, books , etc the good guys are outnumbered, yeah maybe it doesn't work that well in video games because you aren't litteraly able to kill 100 greenskins by yourself, but it kind of sticks to lore. In WoW, which is what i think your whole concern is about..alliance loses usually often, it can be said 100 times , this is WAR , WoW is a PvE game, and most HC raiders are on alliance side, this means they aren't as experienced in PvP as much, all of WAR is about fighting other players, and killing them..yeah you'll have the idiot 11 year old who is just yelling "OMGWTFBBQPWND" but hey, im going to go out on a branch and say it's going to be fairly even sides in skill, and im not a goody goody, i usually always play the noted "bad side" in games =/ i just want to have some change.

Yes, most likely this will be the case initially. However, if the game is to survive, I do believe many gamers will see the usefulness in balancing the factions a bit. Therefore many that begin as Chaos might move to the other side so as to make the PvP more competitive.

The problem is that most people think the team with less players will be the underdog... In WoW alliance had far more players and was constantly getting their butts kicked by the Horde in PvP.
I think that Order might have more players, but Destruction will almost surely be winning most of the battles.

And I would say a good amount of the fans (I would go as far as saying half, if not more) are following WAR....why? Because warhammer is a popular franchise, with many fans, they are already a community, obviously they want to play a video game about a game they've played for a while.

Most of the people will join Destruction, you only have to do a lil research in the fansites; Destruction outnumbers Order largely; i always play the dark side in games, but i dont want to be in the mainstream with WAR. Of course i will have a Destruction alt somewhere but i think the more the people that gets into WAR the more Destruction gets overpopulated. It's a fanbase doom.
