Well, finally got the confirmation e-mail, ran over to the key sign-up (which still has the 23rd as the cut-off date listed next to it), "account not found"........
I posted on the board over there, but doubt anything will happen, as they made the new cut-off the 3rd and it's now the 4th

Yeah, the minions is what I'm really interested in trying out, as they're one of the things that have had me concerned (mainly lag/performance hits when a slew of players plus their minions are on screen all at once fighting). Also want to see how the minion personaliy/raising works out as well.

Two others and myself are having problems downloading the client. We all have beta codes and are in, but when downloading we keep getting a error message that Internet Explorer cannot continue because the file is corrrupt,,,

SOE tookover Vanguard long after it had any chance at all. Honestly, people bitching about how the game will not be finished etc worthless in a post about getting to try it for free? Go take a happy pill or something.
I actually started filling out the beta app a while back and thought about my SOE experiences (all are non SWG btw). I closed the window before completing it.
I was like ya they are only going to be doing x, no game impacting stuff and then I thought wait I;ve heard this before. I don;t care what the lvl is of their involvment is. They have done a poor job (yes that is my opinion) on everything I have touched that has had their name on it somewhere - whatever their responsibility was.
Maybe I;ll change my mind after release and stuff, but I refuse to waste my time on em at this point.

LOL I forgot that I signed up for CB access through Massive Magazine months ago and got an Email from them Friday. After about 2 hours of DL and 10 minutes of patching I got to play for about an hour before they shut down the servers!
The NDA's got my tongue but I can say (I hope) that it looks like it could be a good game at launch. They really seem to care about the quests and if they are enjoyable and worth while(if your playing you know what Im talking about); and making bug reporting easy is ALWAYS a plus when beta testing.
Of course I was very excited about DDO when I OB it; boy I was wrong about that one!

You are using the link I recently posted correct? Because I signed up this morning and it said the 3rd and it let me in fine.
I would keep looking at it, to me it looks like they don't have enough people because they continually seem to be updating new beta invites.

well if i did not play eq2 i would give vg a try now it had matured
but the problem in launch was major lag and disconnects
so maybe when i get tired of eq2 i go back to vg

Are you using Firefox? My first DL was corrupt when I clicked on link in my Email invite; but when I used GetRight it did OK. Just a suggestion.
