Dwarf or High Elf here, just because I have a thing for playing the underplayed. Though I doubt HEs will be underpopulated when they get a Shadow Warrior and White Lions....
Looking at the poll results it evens out quite great. I chose Chosen, them badass armors looks nice. But I'm kinda going for either High elf or as I said, Chosen.
I guess I'll know when the actual game gets released. So far I've been thinking of Goblin Shaman and Chaos Chosen (du-uh), but Dark Elf Black Guard looks f*ckin' EViL! Too much coolness at once - I really can't decide yet. *drool*
Polls here and on Only-WAR seem to indicate that Destruction will be over-populated.
Other than that, I despise Greenskins who must all die like suffering pig-dogs in hell.
So, since I don't see how I could possibly fight alongside hateful, foul, stinking, disgusting Greenskins, I will play on the Order side an hope that everybody who plays Destruction feels they are elite-hardcore-PvPers so that their defeats will be double the humiliation and cause wailing and gnashing of teeth as the "carebear Order casuals" crush you and Destruction dies like suffering pig-dogs in hell.

Well when i asked my close friend who is obsessed with the table top version what race would best suit me, he pointed me in the direction of chaos. After reading this thread, i'm now in fear of being grouped in amongst the goth's and emo's, which is rather disconcerting. but they look really appealing to me so thats where i'm at. on a side note, i wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself... ha ha.

Even though I will most likely play Order , I hardly conceive of them as being "good."
In fact, I will do everything in my power to make sure that Destruction will quickly realize that Order (either Empire, High Elf or Dwarf) will be every bit as nasty, brutal and vicious as the ugliest Greenskin.
Except ... we will probably be prettier and dress better.

Wood Elves- Beastmen
Bretonnia- Vampire Counts
Lizardmen- Skaven

Also that fact that they are making chosen a more complicated style of play its likely lots of people will try and give up on it.
Look at warcraft for example. I hate humans, I think they look stupid but it seems I am one of the few that feel that way.
The one thing that I can see really messing with balance is the wowtards. They are going to leave wow and think well horde always wins so I am going to play the side that looks the most like them. Loads of wowtards will go destruction..
Now that I think about it there is something I am really REALLY hoping for from this game that could stop the above problem. Community, This game community will mater, being rude and not helping or trying to screw over people on your side is going to hurt you since everything your side does matters unlike WoW. So hopfully the wowtards will not be able to make it, since they are really going to get treated like crap for being crap here and quit.
Personally I think we only need a few 100k people and this game will keep itself alive for a long time. I dont care about 8million people playing, all I care is its fun and balanced.
Definately a Black Guard for me. The look and lore behind them is just crazy and they are going to be major bad-asses in the game. Other than that i'll be looking and thinking closely on being Chosen or failing that a squig Herder for a bit of fun. Having said that if they ever do a Warhammer 40k version then I hope they introduce Harlequins....neato

With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. But in games where those people get the highest progression, anyone who doesn't do that will just be a moving target for them and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay money for the privilege. - Neanderthal

Its all about the dwarfs. Gold and strength all wrapped in a nice little bundle. Probably a rune priest though
