I dont recall the OP saying anything about a net cafe... Its funny how people take things blindly and run with it. While I dont think its fair to blame a game or music for someone dropping dead, I dont think any of us would say that staying up for 3 days straight is healthy, especially while being "inactive". Yes I know your all thinking, well the navy seals/special forces do it all the time to their trainees for longer periods of time. However, those guys are some of the most physically fit individuals in the world. Before I get too far off topic, I dont think you can blame the game for what happened, but what he was doing was unhealthy. Was his playing habits the cause of his death? maybe, maybe not
Well I’m going to test if Americans can play longer without dropping dead. I’m taking 5 days off when Hellgate comes out and my girlfriend will be out of town. So I’m going for 4 days without sleep while playing. Go team America!

A longer "record" has already been set. 4.5 days from a Chinese fellow who died in his basement

Saw a record on tv from World Cyber Games 2005 on TV, mostly about Starcraft.
Sponsored korean Teams played 10 hours a day as training there, a korean guy won. There were also messages about guys, who played for 2-3 days nonstop and died because the blood in their legs coagulated (hope my translator was right), which also happens to a few people using long-range flights.

The 30-year-old man fainted at a cybercafe in the city of Guangzhou on Saturday afternoon after he had been playing games online for three days, the Beijing News reported.

I doubt the guy was preparing for league play though.
It's sad to hear news like this though. Video games are not worth your life, even for that T2 BPO, T6 armor, or that top ladder spot. Stay healthy!

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.
