Seriously tho, I'm such a geek about stargate lol. The reason season 10 is the finale is because Oniell is taking leave from acting to become a bigger part of his children's lives. I really hope the other members of Stargate SG1 continue with new stuff. Anyone seen Amanda Tapping in "Sanctuary"? It looks kinda cheesy but I'll probly buy the episodes just because I'm a huge fan of hers.
For a Sci-Fi show... SG1 had some GREAT acting... up to par with those phony ass movie stars.
I wonder what the exact number of DVD sales of SG1 it would take for them to be forced to shoot season 11... If you think about it... the number does exist. If everyone in the world bought one copy it would be such a huge proffit, they'd offer millions upon millions to SG1 per episode. So lets just assume the number is between 1 and 6 billion... get to shopping folks ...

Flawed logic
It's really a catch-22 situation:
If everyone buys the New SG1 DVD episodes set to release this fall, winter and spring then they will go 'oooh this is a cash cow' and keep making DVD episodes to sell to us.
If, on the other hand, nobody buys them... they'll stop making them altogether.
Now that it's been pulled from the air there's really nothing anyone can do to convince them to put it back on.

Doubt that they will ever do more seasons of SG-1 (unfortunately). A new Stargate series could be good as long as it dosn't get SG Atlantis cancelled.
