I remember when the first phase started most of the people wanted to be tourens couse they thought that they were bigger in height then all other races.
I definitly gonna play horde. I like the trolls and undead And the fact that alliance is overpowered because of the love for NE is only make the choice to play horde stronger. Much meat to kill :P

Well I'm sure the dwarves could woop some horde ass if it came down to it. Depending on the numbers on each side and char lvl's. The dwarves are some of the strongest overall classes in the game, followed by the tauren, followed by Orc, followed by human/undead, followed by troll/nighelf, followed by gnome.
So dont be dissing Alliance, or else you might find your head in a basket being shiped back to your home town.
BTW, I dont think your intensionally dissing Alliance, you probably just like horde better.

Yeah that thing about he just likeing Hoard better is true but...a Dwarf (the coolest alliance race) could not beat up a Tauren... there is the lv. and equipments, but a lvl 1 tauren would beat up a lv 1 Dwarf, both using the starting equipment

Now as for the merc thing. I don't want to seem like jack ass, cause I know you mean well, but I'm figured that part would be obvious. You would still be able to play a merc, the merc thing IMO is just an insentive to get people to make their characters on that server-faction. Since you won't be able to have characters from both factions on the same server might as well let people keep playing their mercs. I think just limit the CREATION of those characters to be dependant upon the population, odds are once someone is on the server, they won't play chars too heavily on other servers. You meet people on a server, you get connections, and usualy want to make all your other characters there because leveling them is easier when you can give them money from your higher level characters.
Glad you brought it up though.

You'd still be able to play them, even if your faction had a higher pop, the ONLY restriction, is when you can MAKE a merc.

i have to say your probably right, many people wil lwant to be NE, persoanly my first chars will be Alliance aka a human or dwarf paladin, but i know im going to have a tauren because honestly what race is cooler then tauren!? ^_^

Well, the Night Elves stayed in their little forest dwellings for quite a long time because most of the other races were on a seperate continent, but I won't touch that part. Plus, there was a reason Illidan was locked up for hundreds of thousands of years in his little cave. He was so addicted to his arcane magic that he risked the destruction of the world to protect it, and when he failed and helped create the 'sundering of the world' in which the entire middle of the once Pangea-like continent sunk into the ocean, he decided to create another Well of Eternity to bring back the arcane magics he was so attached to.
Besides, the Night Elves were mistrusting of all the other races, so they decided not to interfere with them until they came knocking on their door dragging the Burning Legion along with them, who they banished from the world millenia earlier (thanks to help from the dragons).
Don't underestimate the Kaldorei lest you find a Druid of the Claw in his bear form growling behind you.
Pff, when WoW comes out I WILL be a druid of the claw. A Tauren one. And I didn't know alot of that other stuff, interesting.
