The game is beautiful! Although i have seen about 7 minutes out of that 8 and a half minute presentation, it was amazing to see it with high quality, rather on a shaky camera at E3. The cities are incredible. Every NPC you see acts like a REAL person, they are conversing with each other, using gestures, and the voice overs are top notch.

Can't wait to see their next video.

Why don't make a game and not so many vidoes?

This movie is actually the full version of what was playing at the E3 show...this time it is just offered online at the nVidia site.  Nothing new to people who saw it at the show.

Some of it was new to me. And now I've got myself a huge *insert expletive here* to finally get my hands on this game. I was blown away by some of the detail they put into this presentation. Can't wait.image

I haven't been following this much, even though I played EQ for 4 years ::::06::

I've been following the WoW developement instead.

However, If I have the machine to run this thing I may be tempted to try it ... maybe ::::28::

    Very Impressive video

Yeah, those spell effects and the pile of bones falling to the ground afterword was pretty awesome. Great video! image Freeport looked real awesome too. Although the sailor dude at the tutorial part sounded a litle annoying.

I thought Freeport looked impressive too.  The troops in formation and the NPC's going about their daily lives gives it a very realistic feel.  Something tells me that EQII will lend itself to easy role-playing image

I have never been this excited about any game, ever, and that's saying something since I've been playing computer games since... well since Pong came out LOL.

    Did I preorder? Oh yeah.

The environments look quite impressive, however, there seems to be an awful lot of "plastic" and "shiny" stuff... like character skin, which looks very plastic and not realistic at all.

    Beautiful? yes.

If this is any indication that there are one-hit kills in the game (especially aoe), count me out.

shhh... you can't ruin the hype by inquiring about gameplay!

Also notice for all the graphics updates how little the compbat looks different from EQ currently. Yes, they have flashy(er) sell effects, but the melee still looks as bad as it ever was.

I'm sure all that will be worked out by release, this is VI we're talking about, they don't make mistakes.

If you actually watched the E3 videos you'd hear somebody commentating that the dragon was well over the players levels. They were merely showing the dragon for the crowd to see.

WOW, this is what I've been wanting to see. A significant amout of in-game footage at lower than max resolution and it still looks stunning! image

This far better than the screenshots make it look (and they make it look good).

As for 1 hit kills, those are in any game if as a low level you wander into the wrong areas image

It was a dragon, it SHOULD wipe the floor with a party of 6 adventurers.  I think I actually remember (3+years ago so memories little foggy) being 1 or at the very least 2 shotted by both dragons in EQ.

WOW, and I certainly don't mean World of Warcraft.  That looked amazing.  I hadn't really even been giving EQ2 a "maybe" for future playability for me, but the more I see and read, the more I can't wait.  I figure even if I quit 3 months in when I get tired of the level grind, that's 3 months of very beautiful, immersive, quest/storyline driven fun.

Wow. I played EQI for a while, and this seems to trump it by a long shot. better graphics, and incorporating new features that'll keep me playing for a loooong time. Pre-order? You bet! image

That was awsome. It gives a great look at the game. When they were doing the tutorial... The ocean was beautifull, Towns were awsome... cant wait to go to freeport, The Dragon Fight was awsome... I am way more excited about this game than i was before. I hope i get Beta.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I don't really like it. Basically because of the cheesy lines and the "say something and then point at it 5 seconds later" thing that I see.

But the graphics are good, I'll have to give it to them for that.

Sadly, the dragon doesn't amuse me.  For some reason, I'm guessing EQII looks turn-based.
