RFO or Archlord???????

in RF Online

I have only played Archlord and deciding on playing RFO instead because there is just too many problems with Archlord atm mainly the lag but i was wondering which won would be better im more of a pvp person so i heard RFO is the way to go for pvp??

    I've played both and RFO is definitely the better game overall. Look at it like this, Archlord came out and got about a 2.5/10 rating from sites and became free within a month. RFO got around 7.0/10 and people paid to play for around a year and a half. Archlord is pretty bad.

    I've downloaded Archlord and the first hour of playtime was boring... It reminds me of KAL online just that it's newer.

    I say RFO is a lot better.

    Archlord is a typical fantasy grinder.

    Rising Force is a grinder but it's a fantasy / s-f hybrid with really awesome PvP. Defineatly RF.

    I was on the open beta teams for both RFO and Archlord, and even in beta RFO was clearly better, and didn't have th emassive issues that archlord did, heck even after arch was retailed there were still basic object collision issues, but I digress. Its good that RFO has gone f2p as I had been forced to stop playing it when more important issues like rent came up.  See you all on novus..... MIDGETS WITH MECHS, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

    Your best bet is to go with RF online. it is way more better and funner than archlord by a long shot.  Plus rf online went free to play. so it is good =0

    Thanks for all the help guys yeh i just started RFO and it is tons better then archlord but it is a bit more difficult to get use to but its way better in many ways.

    I uninstalled Archlord after 2 minutes of gameplay, and RFO after 30.

    This should say a lot.

    I have to agree with pretty much everyone posted above said. RF is a much better game then archlord. Archlords grind just seems like its not enough. Although im new to RF, it has kept my attention more then most games ive played lately. The skilling system in RF is unique, adds a little flavor to the typical grind.

    Except for the fact that RFO has the WORST gameplay mechanics quite possibly ever and EVE Online is above par. I couldn't make it past level 18 due to how crappy the game feels.

    i played both, and i agree with the overall sentiment, RFonline is much better. although both are grinders. RFO is just much better than Archlord.

    I say RF has this one i too played Archlord had alot of lag and glitch issues but RF not so much there there are some ppl that attack new players. But then you got those other ppl that jump in and try to stop it the killing so yeah RF has this one. i enjoy RF alot.

    Archlord caused me to apply CPR to my comp tower to see if it could go on.

    Alas, it was'nt the comp, but the god awfull lag, and the crashes.

    Rf on the other hand atleast does'nt crash, so that makes it better!

    I would have to say Archlord i have never once had any kind of issues playing it imo it is more involving there atleast a little story behind the quest unlike RF and nothing sucks more than to wait an hour to down load the game just to get and be ganked atleast 20 times b4 lvl 10 now that to me just sucks but seems to be the way that RF online players like to treat newcomers maybe they are angry cause now it is free and they had to pay for so long but what a way to keep new ppl filling up there servers and improving the game this can still happpen in Archlord and has only happened t o my lvl 30 archer once since i started and i was awarded 50 k gold for arresting the guy guess he underestimated my lvl and got owned so atleast in Archlord u can get Rewarded for being Ganked.

    Last caple of days I started to test both RF Online and Archlord, and I must say this, RF Online is WAY beter than Archlord.

    But there is one isue. Depends what you like.

    RF Online is an Sci-Fi MMO with guns, robots, teleportation and Mech. For Fantasy fan it might be isue.

    Archlord is Fantasy/Medieval Game. So if you like Fantasy much beter than Sci-Fi pick Archlord.

    Well, how good RFO is depends a lot on which guild you're in or which people you play with.

    If you have a pack of good friends to play with than it's great. If you have a good helpful funny guild it's great as well. But it's kinda hard to have fun if you're a lone wolf.



    If you want to have a lone wolf play style you gotta have lots of luck with drops.
