if it's korean your looking for, might as well try flyff.

    mushpoie is the best server.

Also, helbreath was decent for it's day. But that was back in 1999 - 2000. I played it tons but some of the new updates are kinda weird. long live rax raiders

Rofl. During the beta phase, this game was actually considering a retail box, monthly fee, AND a cash shop. I'm not sure what went through for the release, but the game isn't even worth a cash shop IMO. You could simply afk near some mobs and level to 50 (max) while you sleep.

That's not how the game is meant to be played. if you afk level all day you'll lvl up like a slug. the game is build around killing mobs as fast as possible with skills, which isn't possible with afk leveling.

Dream of Mirror! Oh wait, you don't have many character choices.Oh well, there are a ton of classes in there! Not to mention there are 4 races to pick from. They kinda suck at implementing though, and some of it is badly translated.

Ok ok I get it. So basically the math is:

    Good Korean MMORPG  =  Oxymoron / Non-existant.

Lots of cultural bias on this forum, you'll get used to it.

I agree with him and it has nothing to do with culture, simply the fact that everytime I got sucked into an asian grinder (or their European clones, disposing of the culture thing), when the spell wore off, I felt like an empty, burnt-out husk. I can only be thankful I didn't give them any money.

Yes it is cultural bias and silly stereotyping. There are over 100 korean mmorpg's, have you played all of them? No you didn't, so you just put 95% of the korean MMO's in the same basket as the few you did play and just stereotype all of them. that is cultural bias.

and European clones? Sorry, but what European clones? Europe barely has any mmorpg's, I think you're confusing with european versions of asian mmo's.

Name one then? I don't remember one that even has my damn screen resolution!

    Gimme a break......

    1. Class variety (hate games with 3 classes)
    2. Game where everyone does not look the same
    3. Either no pvp or choice pvp. No forced pvp.
    4. Good mix of quests and grind.
    5. Players speak english.
    6. Nice loot variety

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

a game called "perfect world" which is in beta, atm. it probably has the most character customization i have seen in any game (comparable to SWG). has English players, some dont speak in but thats to be expected. grind isnt harsh but it is there, and it has some cool classes. it is in open beta and free to play for the moment.  www.perfectworld.com.my/

Try Nexustk:Kingdom of the Winds(Nexustk.com) It is an MMO based in ancient mythical Korea. There are 4 paths but 3  player run subpaths for each. PK is completely optional and is held in multiple events per day you can join.
