Outleveled? I think you need to read up on the changes on gear that went by a few months ago.
A gear that you can wear at lvl this or that is a middleroad they choosed when they switched from EE. Example, you can equip gear at lvl10 that is made for a few levels above. So no it is not worthless it is well fitted for the mobs that you encounter at a specific level.
Besides, you can look at the previous gear if the new one is a upgrade or not. Not only stearing blind on that the gear was equipable some levels below you.

Yes, the EE was a good thing. Which led to thinking of the gear in what you described. But the gear is not that worthless as it may seem at first glance here. Ofcourse gear can be worthless if one already have a better one, or get a better one, already but I don't think it is from the quest you actually are supposed to do for the level one are at.

The dynamic weather sure adds to the atmosphere. It's a great feature and enhances the immersion of VG even more. I'm a tad sceptical to snow in the desert though. I was standing south of Ahgram when dark clouds rolled in over the sky and it suddenly started to... snow! Surely rain had been more expected.

Actually, I'm pretty satisified that not everyone from level 5 an up looks like true heroes, dragon slayers or death reincarnated, as opposed to many other mmorpg's. If all looks like heroes, then there is none.
I dont want everyone to look like a shiney uber korean lazer god, but i was always disapointed putting a new peice of armor on and it was exactly the same as the last.

I have to agree with this to a certain extent. They open up a free month for old subscribers, turn on the weather effects, and it snows and rains inside buildings. I probably would have thought that through a little more. But, I'm still having fun after 2 weeks back. Just wish there were more low level people (although it has picked up a bit) in the new areas, as I have re-rolled my characters (it was easier to get into starting from scratch).
