  Closest I can think of is EvE, not that it's a high fantasy game.  But it has diplomacy, ability to control "zones", etc

  hmm ye... eve.... i kinda have a low budget so F2P is a must... and i tried EVE.... i dont get it...

  Hehe, once again, Roma Victor. Politics are a big part, you can create your own empire, trade possibilities are limitless, a true sanbox MMO set in 180 AD.

  thx socrates - RV does actually looks intresting... but theres alot of bad reputation out there and only 100-300 active players :S

  maybe if they had a trial i would try it out... but u have to pay like 40£ or something...

  Well actually for the holiday season the game is only 20 bucks... not bad for a lifetime subscription.
