rest only had 1 medium, but seems to be going up fast, i mean i got it yesterday and that was the pre-order people who ordered from AMAZON.COM are just getting the game now because they ran out of copies due to more being purchased than expected.

Now over to your questions. Did I buy this game? Yes I did. I have a Station account so I got it from Station.com. Did I play in Beta? No I didn't. If I did play in Beta I would have been telling people to stay away from this game a long time ago.

I find it funny that people are trying to already dismiss PotBS's growth and the game is just 1 week old...... 1 week old...... Most media publications havent even published Reviews yet on the game. Ive been playing for almost the full week of release, and I can verify the population is climbing. It will continue to climb as the game is able to saturate the market better. I know some stores in my area who got a very limited stock of the game and have already sold out, and are awaiting more to come in. WoW didnt have 9 million subscribers on its first week of release either, so lets not be pre-mature here. Many people will wait until the game starts getting reviewed and more saturated in the gaming media before jumping on board. Others will wait a few weeks to let the wrinkles associated with the launch to get ironed out.
In regards to the media and reviews however, ifthe few that have been written so far is any indication, then you can expect the population to continue to grow:
PotBS finally got enough reviews this morning to have an official Metacritic score posted. Alot of people use metacritic now as a ranking system for games, movies, and other entertainment media. Just thought Id share the information. 84/100 is a good score on metacritic. Lets keep watching for additional reviews to pour in.
The premise is fueled by historical accuracy, so there is a lot of realism to the gameplay, yet this isn't just a game for nerds. It's deep, but the curve is gradual, which will accommodate a wide range of gamers.

Also not counted by metacritic was a review I saw posted in Maxim Magazine. Doubtful it carries any weight in the gaming community as it is a "Men's Magazine" but it gave PotBS a 5/5 perfect score.
Lets not discredit the work that FLS has done here with PotBS. Only their 2nd game ever, and their very first MMO- My hat is off to them. The have released a game that is both more fun, and is much more polished than many on the market today. Im a hardcore MMO playerfrom FFXI, and I have been sucked in to PotBS this past week big time. That says something about this game, as Im a pretty tough critic.

This is a pretty accurate representation of server loads. It's been building at a steady pace since launch. It's a seriously fun, seriously flawed niche game. I'm not sure what the reason for your reaction is, but this thread has degenerated quickly and Bafucin would appear to be doing nothing more than goading people for a response at this point. That's usually grounds for a lock. The population has in fact increased...slowly. But that's no longer being discussed here. And before you call me a fanboy too, yes, I like the game, but the game has many glaring glaring weaknesses. Those aren't being discussed either. Chose your battles. This has become a troll thread save your anger for someone who's being shouted down by fanboys for bringing up real issues with the game (avcom, UI, society tools, AI, etc).

Actually I'm interested in seeing how an independent company is doing for a non-fantasy MMO.
So far, the best I think I have seen for population was shown on last Friday, but I haven't seen such levels reported since. Yes it is too early to make a judgment call, but over time for about 8 weeks, a pattern (growth, shrinkage, stable, etc) should be established.

Agreed. I would be interested to see actual numbers, per server, on an hour by hour basis for a month.
