    LOL!

You probably don't know this from my earlier posts (there are quite a few of them) but I'm a Chaos freak owning several editions of miniatures, only Chaos of course (well I bought some wood elves for my girlfriend once...  - got to admit that - the shame!), from 40K, Epic to Fantasy. Anyway we're getting off topic.

I thank you for having the time to check on the website for me even if I found it myself.

    Cheers !! (it's never enough!)

Which i find to be pretty starnge as gameplay are probably the best site in the UK for ordering games. Far better than play.lol, HMV, and Amazon.

I'm terribly sorry for double posting but then which one would you recoment then?

Play.com seemed pretty fine for me as they clearly state that you'll get into Beta.

As to quote (someone already posted that but here it is):

Pre-Order bonuses (available from May - or when the BETA begins):
    Open BETA access
    Live game head start

Oh and btw do you really have to create an account on Play.com to get the pre order?

I think yes.. not a big problem for me coz gmail blocks spam so good that sometimes i feel like they are the ones who send it

And it's 20 € more for euro currency users like me:

If I'm not mistaken 55.99 is about 73 €, when you click on their currency change it goes to 93 € !

I've used this link to exactly know how much.

I think when they ment order online, i am pretty sure it only counts as EA's online store. Places like game and amazon etc  send out the same versions that stores get (ye i know amazon doesnt have a store but i have ordered from them before). Which is why i can come to this conclusion.

As for Europe customers, if it is going through another company than what teh US players are, then we will have to wait and see (just like Lotro, Daoc and others) we have to wait to almost retail release before we find out what (if any) offers we get.

@ Harg -Totally agreed of course.

@ CrazyLatvian - Hmm I'll see what I can do about getting it to £. I hope it's possible otherwise...

I too have preorderd mine from play.com and all i got was the standard email saying order confirmed.

Has anyone got official conformation from play.com that we will be getting beta keys and any info on how they will be delievered to us?

Seems lame that the American pre-oders can already get theirs and sign up for the open beta accounts(altho they can't play it yet)

But play.com upped it's price to £59.99 which is effectively $119.99, complete rip-off.

That'll probably be the standard or they'll drop it with all the others.

To get the pre-order bonuses int he UK you HAVE to buy from HMV or Play.com. NO other retailer will provide you with the pre-order 'special bonuses' (early start, open beta etc)

The official word from play.com is that they are emailing us our codes in MAY.  So don't worry :)

Play.com DO have the UK's exclusive deal with EA Mythic as stated on Warhammer website. Play are the only online seller of WAR CE that gets the ADDITIONAL stuff (the open beta access, the headstart when the game goes live etc) HMV get the brick and mortar store deal which offers the same extras.

As far as I know, all other sellers of the CE just get the normal CE box contents without the beta access and headstart.

THe entire roll out of this CE has been an abysmal mess of confusing and conflicting information. I am so determined to get the CE with extras, that I bought one from Play.com the moment the page was updated with the correct info, AND bought one from Game.co.uk JUST IN CASE <shakes head> I'm sure I can ebay any extras, but I shouldn't have to DO IT THIS WAY GODDAMIT!

PLAY.com do NOT have an exclusive deal with Mythic, the latest email newsletter had a more comprehensive list of who were the "official" CE dealers with beta codes, GAME and PLAY were both listed for the UK and HMV.com was not mentioned at all.

Are you looking at the right website? Here is the Europe one I used: http://www.war-europe.com/#/event/?lang=en

HMV is listed not as an E-tailer, that's true. They are listed as a brick and mortar retailer.

I don't think Play will be the only online UK seller handing out codes either. I hope I'm right as I have had numerous troubles with play sending out wrong items and deliveries arriving long after the game is released.
Do you download the game with the early access or do you the stores send the dvd to you? With play it had better be codes otherwise the early start is wasted.
P.S. If you do decide to order with play don't forget the code
experience08 for 5% off your order and go through quidco for a further 4% I think. I would order with Game as I think they will up the price plus you get 11% off via quidco.

I dont see what the big deal is getting a week or 2 headstart anyways. Your going to be the forerunners of any servers instabilities and game issue's. As well as if everyone got it, contendign with fighting over a mob here and a mob there cos the area's are jam packed.

Yeah, that will be the same when the game lose's the headstart/early access but hopefully half teh populations would have moved on.

Its mostly about getting the coveted name you want for your toons, but aside from that is the sheer number of people trying to log on and patch the game on the first day. By getting into the headstart programme you won't have so much difficulty with those things (the numbers are limited ). A two stage rollout of the game like this should make things easier for everyoneI think.
